"I can't believe it," Eve groaned, hiding her face in her palms. "We didn't even lock the door." She suddenly perked up in alarm. "Ce-, I mean, Ellin, I mean… Ugh. How did Celina didn't walk on us, or some nurse?"
"She heard the noise and decided to not disturb us or let anyone else do that," Victor said, drying his hair with a towel.
He was as cool and collected as he ever had been. There were no traces of that worry and concern that etched deep lines in his face earlier, only calm and the warmth in the depths of his hazel eyes.
He was also as naked as the day he was born, and Eve couldn't even look in his direction without blushing with her entire body, which was, at the moment, just as bare. Now that her mind wasn't muddled with a haze of lust, Eve felt self-conscious about it.
