Helkep glanced past the empty hall and sighed. The hall was empty... there was no more miasma.
'Man you're frightening... Why the hell do I smell such wretchedness from you?' Noble. D, asked timidly.
Helkep shrugged and glanced at his own chest, he could feel it... something foreign beating inside him.
A frown appeared on his face and without hesitation, he pierced the fire claws into his own chest and slowly dug something out... something that throbbed ever so gently within him.
As it came out of him... he could see it was a total copy of a real heart. It was the artifact that had always been keeping him alive... the artifact he detested the most in his life. Sighing, Helkep asked Noble. D, "Where are my clothes?"
Noble. D came off of his face and started flying in a particular direction. Helkep followed him silently.
As he was walking, his eyes fell to the large mirrors inside the dome's walls besides the blocked gate.
