The planet of Jona had two chunks of land with a wide gap in between. The lands existed in such a way that if one looked at the edges of the two lands from space, they would see a full circle and if one turned to the side, they would see only a single land.
Travelling from one part to the other had been a hassle so four artificial cities had been constructed on the ocean that linked between the two lands.
Later on teleporters had been constructed so travelling between the two became even easier.
The four artificial cities were mechanical bodies whose top had been covered by soil, deep enough to allow crops to be grown.
The mechanical parts underneath had been built to suspend the cities in the air.
Two cities of the four had been built near the lands. On one side the city had been built on the top and on the other on the lower edge.
The rest of the two had been built on the top and end of the planet if taking the two lands as centre.
