Maria Elizabeth POV
How i always like summer season.No school works just enjoying the whole two months.But of course, doing household chores just like now.
I'm washing our dishes right now.It is written in the schedule.Yes we have that one.We really need it so me and my siblings won't fight for who will do that chores and it.
Our mother is currently in the market with my eldest sister.Well she is one of the vegetable vendor.That's how she support us for our foods and all things we need.
"Elize,we're going in the falls at 2 pm.How 'bout you?We are with Kean and Lyza anyway so don't worry."It is my 12 year old sister Alivia.She is tall but skinny.
"Nah.I'm coming.Mama would be really angry if something bad happen about you three."I said then wipe my wet hand in my shirt that the color is already fading
She shrug her shoulder as she raise her two eyebrows."If you say so."
I cooked rice then boiled four eggs for our viand.That is cheaper than fish and meat.There is just my mother who is working for us.I don't want her to suffer more.
My father is an tricycle diver before.He accidentally hump in an heavy three and so he died a year ago.Go thing that we have our place in the market.
I'm left to taker my youngest sisters and brothe.My eldest sister will help our mother in the market when it is weekend or free day just like now.
I and my siblings go in my cousin's house after lunch.Just like us, their house is made of coco lumber.Their parents is both farmers.
I take a 1.5 bottle with a water inside.The falls is far from our house and we might get thirsty so better be ready.
"Ke,you should bring your bolo."I heard Lyza talk to kean as i put a face towel in my brothers back.I pat his shoulder and he just smile at me.
"We better start walking now,Ly."
"Hmm.Hmm."She nod and start walking.
It is more than 1 hour walk after we could reach the falls.I'm already sweating bullets as i climb the high mountain.As just keep myself silent so i won't easily get tired.
"I'm already tired."Eros,my youngest brother mumbled.His sweat is dripping from his forehead down to his face as his both hands place on his knees as he give a deep breath.
Kean chuckled hearing Eros."You should go back now.If you really die i will push you until you get there."He point the house down the mountain.Eros just give him a death glare.
"You wish."
"Catch."I said to Eros and throw the bottle that i am holding.
"Thanks."
"Ros,i'm thirsty too."Kiven stood beside Eros and wait him until he finish drinking.
I stood straight and face the whole land.My long hair dance as the wind blow.It is one of the beautiful sight.
I can see wide flat land.Houses far from each other ,Fields, trees and sea from the edge meeting the sky.
After a minute we start walking again.Our whole walk is full of talks and laughter.Alivia and Lyza won't stop glaring at each other.None of them wan't to lose.Lyza told us that she run fast than Alivia,well Alivia is telling the same way.I can't judge.They are both excel in running.They are always parts of atheletics in our school.
"Oh,shut up Liv.I got 21 gold medals,16 silver and 2 bronze."Lyza said with a smug face making Alivia roll her eyes.
"And i got 22 gold,14 silver and no bronze."
"All in all i got more medals than you."Lyza piont out.
Me and Kean eyes met and we just shake our head.They are one of those crazy.
"Ly and Liv why you two don't just start running now and who will get first in the falls is really a fast runner."Kiven suggested making the both of them groaned.
"Not a good idea.I feet already aching."Alivia nod at Lyza.
"Yeah.Yeah.We might get slip."
Both of them is crazy ended.
After an hour of walking i can alread heard a flow of water where i am standing.I'm holding on the bushes as i step in the stone carefully.I might die if i slip and hit my head in the heavy stone down there.
I can't help but to scratch my itching arm and legs.It is cause of the bush in our way to falls.
Alivia and Eros dive in the cold water when we already reach the falls.The cold water reach my feet and i actually shiver a bit.
They start swimming in the falls with a wide smile.Yeah.The water realy relax me.I sit in the big rock and plan to swim when we were already going home.
"Maria."I stop and my forehead knot.It is a girls voice but i'm sure it is not from Alivia or Lyza.I can heard their loud laugh as they swim back and forth.So where the voice coming from?
"Maria Elizabeth,we need your help."My forehead knoted more.What is this?My subconcious?No!I'm not out of my mind!
"Hey,Elize!Why are frowning like the whole Earth burden you."Kean said then chuckle follow by a loud laugh from my sibkings and cousins.
"C'mon Elize,let's swim."Yeah.Maybe it is just me and myself.I need a cold water to relax my mind.
I dive and cold water welcomed me.I like to go back in the stone where i am seating because my body is shivering because of the coldness of the water.
"We should go home now."I said as i start walking out of the water.The place is already getting darker and darker.
"Yeah.I feel like i swim in a pool full of ice cubes."Eros is already trembling because of the coldness.
The whole walk is silent.I am at the end of the line,kean is leading the way.We are all hugging ourselves because of the coldness plus the cold breeze of the air.
"Maria Elizabeth."I would stop when i hear the voice.It would'nt stop.What it is?An elf?Fairy?Other mythical creatures that.of course don't exist.
"Ahhh"I shout when i stumble but it is like they don't hear me.I start rolling until i stop in a mires.
"Fudge."I start reaching the bushes near me but as i move myself the mires is start to pulling me down.No!A swamp land!
"Help!!!"
