I was stunned with what I saw when I opened that paper bag. My hand started shaking and I couldn't control them. I lost my grip on the paper bag and it slipped out of my hand. Vin rushed to my side immediately after the paper bag hit the ground. He looks so alarmed at how I was acting. He placed a hand on my shoulder and turned me to face him. He looked at me straight in my eyes and I saw how concerned he was.
"Are you okay, love?" He asked me and I just nodded at him, still lost for words to say. He crouched down and picked up the paper bag and peaked inside. Then looked at me again, and his eyes tells me that he knows exactly what's running through my mind.
"Are you sure you're really okay?" He asked again. When I didn't answer he continued.
"Trust me, love. I know Lauren. She would never do anything to harm another intentionally. She has no reason to make Miggy sick." He reassured me and I just nodded again.
