It had been a few hours and his phone had been blown up with messages and calls. It was so noisy he had to shut his phone down just to get some peace.
Samantha after a while of chatting with Seph had stopped to listen to music. So he sat there looking out the window enjoying the scenery. He was unable to have the feeling he was being watched. Like holes being burned behind him so he looked back to see as he was approached and dragged off to another seat by a what could you call it? Friend? No more like a peer. Someone he knew but wasn't really friends with. His name was Bob he was the definition of basic. Many people liked him though and he had many friends. There was one person always never interested in being friends in any way and that was Samantha.
Samantha was different in many ways very unique. Bob couldn't understand this but he desperately wanted to be something more to her. She was of course never interested. Which lead to Bob's fragile ego to crack a lot and he was really a nervous guy. The only one to see this was none other Samantha's best friend Seph. Bob begged him constantly to tell him what he could do to get her to like him and Seph could never answer, he genuinely didn't know himself. She was drawn to different people but overall never showed that kind of care to someone ever. He knew she could be a cold person but she never was in front of Seph even near people he knew she disliked, so he tried to keep away from them during the times she was around him.
But back to the present for now.
" what the hell are you doing!?" Bob whispered at Seph.
" what are you even talking about? I literally was just sitting down-"
"Next to Samantha?! You know how I feel about her yet you still won't tell me how to get close to her and on top of that you continue to take her attention. What is a guy like me supposed to do?" Bob whispered .
"Don't know what to tell you bud she isn't interested I've tried to help she denied you how many times?" Seph snapped back.
"I- I want to be with her but you are always there just let me approach her alone and I will get her for sure" Bob stated enthusiastically.
"Go for it I don't care at all". Seph said as he sat and waited for the show. "Go on"
Bob went over to her seat. He could see the back of there heads but that was it. Bob was nice and he wasn't bad looking but he knew he wasn't her type.
" he does have a nice color of hazel for eyes though" he muttered as he thought more about it. He looked back up and saw Samantha look around until she spotted him and moved there stuff over to him and sat down.
"Oh hey wasn't Bob over there with you?" He stated.
"Yea but I told him that it was your first time out of town and wanted to hangout with you" she replied with a smile. ( REJECTED 23x)
"Ok everyone please stop moving seats we are almost to the hotel and we will leave in the morning." The English teacher Mr. Jun stated as he stood up front pointing to the tall building that must have been the hotel. Seph peered out to the surrounding forest of the area. It was getting dark but the one thing he could see confused him greatly. Rope was lying in one of the trees they were passing. It was tied in the shape of a noose.
He was outside now watching the bus pass by he felt something pick him up and place his neck into the noose. He couldn't move. It let go as his throat crushed under the pressure. It began to burn as he couldn't catch a breath of air. He struggled but to no avail he was stuck unable to breathe as his eyes felt like they were exploding with colors and popping sounds. The bus was gone he was all alone and with no help. He felt tears begin to fall as he slowly fell into a deep dark abyss of death.
He jumped as the tree finally passed by. His heart has beating faster then he has ever seen it. He felt tears on his cheeks as he looked out the window. Death slowly pulling away from him.
" Seph are you ok?" He heard Samantha said next to him.
He quickly wiped away the tears and smiled at her.
"Yea I'm good are we almost there?" as he tried to change the subject.
She knew something wasn't right but didn't push it and they chatted until the bus stopped in front of the building slowly everyone began to pile out. He had never felt an experience like that before. Never of him being killed by whatever put him into that noose. He never felt close to death. It wasn't his first rodeo with these but the others were like a walk through the park compared to this one. He never felt pain in his visions. Something wasn't right he felt very off he felt like he was being watched. He felt like how his mother looked all the time jumpy, cautious, and worried. Perhaps he shouldn't have come on this trip.
No he wouldn't let one vision change the fact that he was already there he wouldn't go back now he was so close to having an amazing time. Why would he let one thing ruin it all. He quickly grabbed his stuff and walked into the lobby with the rest of his class.
