Saintess Lucia is a heavenly user, a person who uses positive emotions as her 'fuel' to congure her powers.
Being an aura user myself and fought with some, I understood that while aura users can create and imagine all kind of powers, most tend to focus in a style they fit in and would usually use that kind of style they choose.
For example, I mostly use my aura to create objects that have an effect like fire to harm others or protect myself from attacks, or congure things like hands or tentacles as an another part of my body.
Lilith showed me that I can use my aura to affect aqueous or gaseous substances but I might rarely use that unless in specific situations, but there is also Saintess Lucia that uses her aura not as weapons but to control the mind of others.
After weeks of observation from the golems, they discovered that Saintess Lucia would visit and try to interact with most of the citizens of her section, with that all the people near her would slowly start to revere her and see her as a divine being.
After a slow and long process of brainwashing, she succceded in imbuing her mind control on most of the Western section. We are not talking about a brainwashing that makes you a mindless puppet but one closer to an hypnotic suggestion where after many session the desired effects would start to appear.
In fact I was heavily subjected by Edea in many kind of hypnosis and one of them consisted in me laying down on the bed listening to Edea's hypnotic suggestions for an hour everyday for a month and after that I couldn't help but only listen her orders until the effects started to diminish after some time with Edea stopping the sessions.
Different from spells these kind of effects cannot be lifted if one has been already affected for a really long time and only be lifted with time.
Saintess Lucia uses her aura to control other's mind and most likely even able to totally control the minds of few. That power reminded me of the vampire matriarch of the mind.
As Deva thought that, there were two beings that are currently watching her.
One is Saintess Lucia herself and the other located in Deva's shadow, Seleolia.
As Deva's thought passed on Seleolia's mind, Seleolia couldn't help but tremble in delight that Deva remembered a part of her. While Saintess Lucia was hungrily gazing at Deva.
Lucia suppressed with all her might the desire to just claim Deva instantly by using her powers. And just waited for Deva to open her mouth.
And after some time that for Lucia seemed an eternity, Deva started the conversation.
"I...I remember you, I saw you a few months ago..."
To all the golems and Core who were watching from afar the scene couldn't help but chuckle at seeing Deva who was playing the role of a timid character but to Lucia ,that stutter and with Deva looking the ground as if she was extremely shy to her, were enough to melt her heart.
Lucia, who only met Deva at Lumina and found through her informants that Deva was a slave to two elves and managed to escape, doesn't know what Deva's real past or her real personality.
To Lucia, Deva makes her heart throb like no one is able to do, and Lucia doesn't know why she feels that way. To her, love and affection are just tools to manipulate others but only with Deva she felt different.
While Seleolia and Lucia were basking in delight that Deva remembered them, Deva, who is still acting, wasn't feeling the same. Because in the corner of her mind, excluding the view of the child that she killed that disappeared, another view appeared and that was from a third view coming from Lucia.
At that Deva recalled what the eyeballs said to her.
-Your eternity is threatened by three 'Ends'!
Why did another one pop out? Does that mean there are other Ends unknown to me? Does the Ends I can see only the ones that will harm 'Everything'? Or somehow managed to obtain Lucia's view because she interacted with her? Or because my eternity is not threatened by her End that my eyes didn't show anything.
Despite having many questions that no can answer and another 'End' appearing, she nonetheless continued the act. In fact to answer her questions, she needs to Lucia to reveal all her secrets to her.
At first Deva wanted to find why Saintess Lucia was interested in her by playing around a bit. But now instead found a reason to continue her act and make Lucia reveal everything about her, especially whether she has an 'End' or that her eyes are now defective.
There was also the option of killing the Saintess so that Deva won't have think of nothing but there was fundamentally a flaw there and that was that Deva is surrounded by Lucia's most closest and powerful subordinates and believers, they all saw and most likely remembered her face before she entered inside the room. Deva doesn't know if Lucia were to be killed then her influence to everyone affected by her powers will vanish or not, but either way she would become the murderer of a human ruler, meaning that she would become an enemy of the entire human race.
While some of Deva's actions brought minor consequences in the world, they were not so impactful enough to make others remember her name or atleast have a proper image of the person behind the name Deva Yelena. In fact most of the people only know her name but other than that everything else is shrouded in mystery.
The name of Deva Yelena is only known because Lucia spread the name but if Deva were to kill her or even suspected of her death then that would be really troublesome as Deva would need to hide her face or hide herself from the world and she didn't want want that.
So, at the moment, with a variable appearing, Deva can only continue the act and see what will happen.
