The transition was strange to say the least.
She couldn't move without assistance and although she didn't want to cry, a portion of her did. Eira was supposedly a young girl who was looking forward to a competition with her teammates, only to crash and all of a sudden come face to face with a higher being stating she was deceased.
After giving her some "advice" she was a child again, and the woman who took care of her, never left her alone.
'šš©š¦'š“ š£š¦š¢š¶šµšŖš§š¶š ', Eira thought, her small hands reaching out to touch her mother's cheek.
In surprise, her mother extended a finger and Eira wrapped her small hand around it, followed with a smile. As Eira looked around, she noticed she was in a small cottage, it wasn't that clean but it wasn't dusty. Vials hung along the walls, each with differentiating colors, and vines grew from the corners and spread throughout the windows. There was no stove, no microwave, no tv, but there were plenty of wooden appliances and a manual oven.
Eira couldn't look around more because then she was covered with a blanket, and the scent coming from the fabric put her to sleep. Her mother then put her into a small chest, and as she shut the lid, the front door slammed open. A tall muscular man entered the room, approaching the mother.
He had slick red hair, which seemed to blend into the sunset behind him. As if he didn't even want to be there, he stepped away from the door and kept a distance between him and the woman. He sat down onto the couch, crossing his legs and glaring at the mother, "So? Where is she?" he demanded.
The mother smiled, "She's not here at the moment, the wet nurse took her for clean up and to check that everything is alright.". It was a lie of course, but he didn't need to know that she was lying. The mother promised that she'd protect Eira.
"Soka, how could you be so irresponsible? That thing was just born. You already let her out of your sight?" He slammed his fist into the wall, the wood darkening on impact.
He angrily stood, raising his hand, but instead stormed out of the house again, making sure to slam the door behind him. The entire cabin shook, and the mother, Soka, ran to the chest.
Eira laid sound asleep, and she sighed in relief. Her father was one of the higher chiefs of the village they lived in. He was never home, but made sure to send fons and food to the cabin. His position ensured that he never truly had any free time, but that was beneficial for Soka because every time he's home, she's had to clean up. Both herself and the room.

2 years have passed, and Eira could now start crawling. She took advantage of that by exploring the small cabin she lived in. Her favorite room was the one with books, she enjoyed looking at the pictures of creatures, magical circles and magic.
'šš©š¢šµ šŖš§ šµš©šŖš“ šøš¢š“ š¢ š®š¢šØšŖš¤š¢š šøš°š³šš„?' She pondered.
Although her body was of a 2 year old, she had the mentality of her teenager self and so she was going to take advantage of this secondary chance to live.
Although because she still remembered the past, there would be days where she would do nothing but cry. Soka had a hard time on those days, because even after Eira was changed, fed and already had her nap, she would just cry. Eira hasn't gotten over her friends.
'š š„šŖš„šÆ'šµ š¦š·š¦šÆ šØš¦šµ šµš©š¦ š¤š©š¢šÆš¤š¦ šµš° š§šŖšÆš„ š¢ š£š°šŗš§š³šŖš¦šÆš„.'
Reminiscent over her past, she still decided to walk forward- or well, crawl forward. One night, Soka was putting her to sleep and under the moonlight that was shining through the window, her blue hair began to glow.
Soka started humming, rocking Eira gently in her arms. Once Eira's breathing calmed, Soka sat down onto the bed and softly swept her fingers along her baby's scalp.
"My beautiful child, oh how much ÉŖ Źį“į“ į“ Źį“į“.".
It would be strange to deny that Eira wasn't planned, but regardless Soka learnt to love her. With the moonlight still shining down on them both, Soka raised her fingers forming an open claw. The moisture in her palm started to float and swirl.
The transparent liquid shimmered under the light, and Soka stood to open the window with her free hand. With a quiet creak, the window slid open. The ball within her hand formed into an arrow, and Soka extended her left hand.
Mimicking the shape of a bow, the arrow flew once the pull was released. The arrow exploded into mist, sparkling on the way down. The ground glistened due to the mist, but part of it leaked onto the crack in the ground.
The crack lead past the the cabin and into the forest behind them, but the dense line of trees prevented the naked eye from seeing further. Soka looked back at Eira, dread painted across her soft features, "I'm worried for į“Źį“į“ day, I can't protect you then.".
