PENELOPE'S POV
Oh my God! I knew it! He likes me. I can't believe this! The young CEO of the popular company is into me. Huh! It sucks that Grace and Yuri don't believe me but I will prove it to them. And I only want this man to be mine. I remember before, Grace always has some nice men admiring her, but she doesn't notice or acknowledge it, and all I got was some jerks wanting to play with me and ravage me, but now that I got a nice one, I'm not letting this man go, he has to be mine.
And that situation between her and Claude went on and on.

As Penelope make her way to Claude's office, of course, a lot of people looked at her and some gave her weird stares. The people giving her weird stares are the ones being confused about why the intern is almost always in Claude's office. They noticed that the intern has been excessively "friendly" to their boss. And they think they already know why, with the history of their boss' with girls, it is not a surprise to have girls all over him and crying after he's done with them.
Entering Claude's office with a cup of coffee, a task that a secretary should be doing, she knocked on the door and opened it without hearing Claude's response. Upon entering she saw Claude with other people and it seems like it's a serious discussion, but that didn't bother her. Instead, she gave sultry eyes to Claude, and when their eyes met she felt like she's in heaven. Well you could already know the answer, yes, Claude is using his power on Penelope, but then he remembered his in a meeting, a meal could wait.
You might be wondering why Claude is taking so slow on getting his meal, well, the reason for it is his enjoying playing with her.
As Penelope goes back to her senses, she gave the coffee to Claude, but not without brushing her hand on Claude's hand up to his arm and whispering "I hope you enjoy the coffee." With that Penelope walked out with a satisfied smirk on her face.
What she didn't know is that all of the people there are looking at her back with hungry eyes, but they know they can't touch unless the highest is done with her. She's quite young that's why her scent is strong and it's hard for them to control. While Claude there was just enjoying his coffee and making a plan on his head on how he could make this girl's blood much tastier.

As night time comes, one by one the employees go to their homes, as they were really tired, that they feel like it's the busiest day they had. Checking through the office, Penelope walks quietly, not wanting to make any sound that could attract the guards that are still there in the company as their boss is still not going home. Making her way to Claude's office carefully is kind of hard and she's getting startled with all the little noises that she hears, as the lights are turned off in some parts. As she arrives at Claude's office door, she didn't hesitate to open it without knocking. And there she sees the man, still at his table working on files.
As she sees this, she started to leave her bag on the sofa beside the glass windows and made her way to Claude. Claude seems to not care about her presence so with this she decided to take it to another level. She walked around the table and sat on Claude's lap. This made the man, groan internally as he really needs to finish the files, but this human is annoying him, but he didn't let it show through his face instead he looked at her and as he looked at her he saw her giving him bedroom eyes.
And because of this the vampire instinct in him just turns on. The urge to bite this woman is getting out of hand. And Penelope's seduction is not helping. "Come on, you should take a break," she said while leaning closer to him. And that snapped him, Claude's eyes turned red and when Penelope looked at it, she's in Claude's control now. Kissing each other Claude is getting excited, while Penelope is under a spell making her feel like she's in heaven even in just slight touches from Claude. You could tell that this isn't the first time the two have kissed. The first time is just some days after their heated encounter on Penelope's first day. It's like Claude's touch has electricity that runs through her whole body, and she can't refuse it even though she tries sometimes. Continuing their make-out session, and clearly, Claude is enjoying this just waiting for the right time to bite her. And when Claude is ready to bite Penelope, they heard a phone ringing.
This made Claude let out an animalistic growl, but this saved Penelope's life. Coming back to her senses she looks at Claude's disheveled figure and herself too, but the ringing on her phone continued. With a confused face, she answers it. "Hello, who is it?" While talking to the person on her phone Claude seems to look frustrated in the corner. His eyebrows furrowed his trying to calm himself down. He almost does something that he might regret because of his vampire instincts. He doesn't to be like them, he might be cruel but he's not as cruel as them.
As Penelope finishes the call, she turns to Claude and said that she needs to go home now as something came up in their house. She wanted to ask Claude what happened but he seems like he doesn't want to talk about so, without any answers she went home with all of the questions running through her mind. But because of Claude's lingering powers on her she just somehow decided to ignore all those red flags and firmly state to herself that she still going to pursue Claude.
She's getting much closer to her grave.
