Today, what will be shown is an Orc's blacksmith hammer. Orc where this artefact come from are slightly shorter than the typical human, but are extremely muscular and contain an inner brutal rage within them. As such, delicate and meticulous work is almost impossible for them, as it would often fail. However, one Orc sought to pursue such an art, via forging of very intricate and luxurious weapons.
Typically, such weapons would be heirloom swords, rapiers and daggers. But this Orc would create luxurious war hammers and battleaxes, with its large and brutish structure. But now, when taking closer inspection, these weapons made by this Orc would always have impeccable detail. Decorated with rubies and emeralds, plated with silver and etched with gold. These intricate designs would always depict a message, such as maps to a noble's vault or the story of the person the weapon was dedicated to.
These items were extremely valuable, as no other person has the ability to do such intricate decor on to a handcrafted weapon. Despite its fragile look, it is not to be looked down upon as an actual weapon. These weapons would at times almost be the flag that boost morales in war and deliver devastating blows to the terrain as long as the right wielder uses the weapon. It changes the tides of war and has exchanged hands for hundreds of years.
Unfortunately, the orc who has created these weapons was too naive. He helped the wrong crowd of people, and it resulted in his betrayal, with those desiring to extract the knowledge as to how to create these weapons. Leading to him being kept in a cage with nothing but rags to keep him warm. When he was given the opportunity to create a weapon to show his captors how these weapons were made, and he set fire to himself and the entire forge that he was kept in. Burning those who caged him as well.
His own hammer is the only thing that seems to have lasted the fire. It's quite the small hammer, but built to last millennia, it seems. The weapons that were made by him were the only thing left in their world that is known to have been made by him.
