Chapter 2 - Mission Success

Two students were sitting chatting and laughing. One of them took out their lunchbox.

"What's in your lunchbox? Is it from home?" The boy asked his friend

The other boy smiled and said, "yea It's from home. Mom and my old man always want me to carry a lunchbox."

"Oh, I see, you're lucky bro." The two begin to eat.

"HOME" Hezekiah who was standing on the other side muttered to himself. He watched the sun that was painting a pretty sunset in the northeast. All the shades of reds mixed with the blues and yellows as the sun tried to behind some hills. Today, he will be going back to the house. A house that wasn't home. Never was and probably never will be. Hezekiah smiled wistfully.

"Alpha, take me to the estate," Hezekiah called to his driver.

"Young master, are you sure?" Alpha asked nervously

"It's okay."

Hezekiah got in his car and signaled the driver to take him to his so-called home.

When they arrived at the estate, his parents were already home. His Mom was lying on the sofa watching television.

Hezekiah walked through the front door trying to make less noise as possible. Less noise usually meant less trouble.

"Hezekiah!? Is that you? Get in here this instant!" A high-pitched voice hollered from the living room.

She wasn't in a good mood today. She hardly was when he came around.

"Who's there?! Who's there?!" The system that was daydreaming was suddenly startled by that scream.

"My Mom. She's calling me." Hezekiah said word for word.

The system trembled violently and muttered, "not good, not good." It flew and hide behind Hezekiah

"What are you doing? Didn't you say no one can see you apart from me?" Seeing the system action, Hezekiah couldn't help asking

"Ahem, ahem!" The system clears his throat, "I forget" he said embarrassedly

"Hezekiah, I'm calling you." The women's voice sounded again

Hezekiah sighed and made his way to the living room where his mother waited

She sat up when he entered, "Well, shouldn't you greet your mother? The one that brought you into this world?"

"It would have been better if it weren't you, I came through," Hezekiah muttered

"What did you say?" The woman explode

"Hi Mom," Hezekiah took two steps back trying to keep his distance as possible

"You are right. I never wanted you anyway. It was a mistake on my part. So tell me, what are you doing in my home? ~ We got a call three days ago, the school said that the Generation of Mystery is disbanded for three years. The reason I'm back is to tell you to find somewhere else to go, I don't want you around me, my family, or my properties." Her words made people heart shattered

Hezekiah who was standing in front of her had a faint smile on his face, his expression was calm, but the grief in his clear water eyes was obvious. He knew this would happen, but stubbornly came to try his luck, the luck that never works on this woman. She wanted to keep him as far away from her as possible, even if he disappeared it would be her good news.

He wanted to ask her what he did wrong that made her hate him to this extent, but seeing her arrogant face that gave no room for argument, he gave up on that idea and said calmly. "Mom, since you love it so much when I'm far away from you, then I will do as you please. I came here today to tell you that I will be traveling to America next week, in case Dad ever thinks about me."

"Why not go this week? I will transport you." Her eyes lit up when she heard Hezekiah was really going away.

Hezekiah's heartache seeing his mother being this excited because of his absence. "You don't need to worry, I can afford it. Besides, I also need my documents and transcripts from the school."

His Mom nodded in understanding, "I see, you're planning on going to school there, which means you will be there for a long time. ~ That's good. I can still do your paperwork though, my connection will be faster ."

"You can do whatever you want, I shall take my leave now. have a good mother"

She answered "Same to you Hezekiah, I wish you a good time in America, so you won't be able to come back." She smiles brightly waving her hands.

"Let's go." Hezekiah got back in his car and drove away.

Three days later,

Hezekiah was on his way to America, he didn't know where the system had gone to, or, maybe it gave up.

While Hezekiah was deep in thoughts, a terrible storm came and the plane began to shake violently due to system component failure on the plane. Power plant accidents occur when a failure of all or a part of a power plant makes an aircraft impossible to control.

Losing control, the plane deviated from its flight envelope and crashed.

People were crying and running around like crazy. From the 650 air passengers that were involved in the crash, only one person died, which is Hezekiah.

"Mission success!" The system laughed
