Honestly translating the elven scriptures is a hard job. There's things that are forbidden and things that are ment for ritual. The Modern language is different from the old but it's still simmilar just the writing system is different. Honestly our religious leaders do give us parts of the text but why is it so hard to translate. The ritual meal as well as the ritual immersion in water are the main parts of the elven religion. The other rituals are less important like marriage, confession, confirmation,anointing and clerical orders. The church gives a place of comfort. Some may have different rituals but ritual is still important. Our monarchy is a ritual but some might not agree with it. I know the people want equality but how can we get equality when tradition doesn't allow it. Do we change tradition no that would be horrible for us. The church also upholds the tradition of our monarchy.
