"The Liberation has breach the Public Safety Commission Building, they have made a hostage situation in the middle of a damn war" Shogun reply annoyed
"What the hell are the heroes guarding that building doing? Letting them in like that?" Izuku said annoyed
"Heroes are not soldiers, Delta. Most of them ran away, those who didn't, either became a hostage or corpse" Shogun explain
"And you wanted us to save them" Izuku said begrudgingly
"They ask us for help" Shogun said
"Well that's rich coming from them. Remembering the last time we offered help, they told us to go fuck ourselves" Izuku scoff remembering the aftermath of "Kamino War"
"As annoying it may be, they are still civilian that falls under our jurisdiction in times of war. They've ask for our help, so we'll deliver" Shogun said
"Sigh, roger. We'll get it done" Izuku reluctantly comply

"So why we are here again?" Kei ask as Delta 9 are on the helipad of Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, the building just beside the Public Safety Commission Building
"You damn know why" Izuku reply annoyed
"Why do we need to rescue their stupid asses? It's because of people like them who limits the Ranger's moment that this damn war is started" Kei said annoyed
"You're not the only one annoyed, Lt" Roach reply as annoyed as well
"Delta 9-1, Shogun actual. Be advised, most of our asset in your area has retreat for refuel and rearm, reinforcement is unavailable for the time being. You on your own" Shogun inform
"Delta 9-1, copy" Izuku reply before looking to his team "We have our orders, gentlemen. The faster we rescue those assholes, the faster we'll rescue the much needed civilian still around" Izuku said as the team deploy a zipline launcher device
"Ready?" Izuku ask his team
"Ready" Kei reply
"Ready" Roach reply
"Ready" Yuri reply
"Launch" Izuku ordered then the team launch the zipline towards the Public Safety Commission Building's roof
"Looks good" Kei said
"Hook up" Izuku ordered then the team hook up with the zipline before ziplining towards the Public Safety Commission Building
"3, 2, 1, detach" Izuku ordered then the team detach the wire connected to the zipline launcher, making them to swing towards the Public Safety Commission Building. They then activate their thruster to slow down before landing on the side of the building
"Lines secure. Let's move down" Izuku ordered then the team began rappelling down through the building
"Hostiles inside the building" Yuri inform
"The lights inside should keep them blind to us. Guy at the table, Kei, take him out" Izuku ordered
Kei then take the shot just in sync with an explosion from the outside, effectively masking the gunshot noise "Got him" He said
"Good. Yuri, Roach. Take the other two on the right" Izuku ordered
Yuri and Roach the take their shots, killing the other two terrorists inside the building
"Target's down, we're clear" Roach inform
"Move down to the next floor" Izuku ordered then the team rappel down to the lower floor
"More hostiles inside" Kei inform
"6 of them. Standby, let them split" Izuku said and as soon as Izuku said that, 3 of the terrorists began to split away "A chance, Kei, Roach, take the three to the left. Me and Yuri got the two on the middle" Izuku ordered
"Yes, sir" The team comply then they began to move to a firing position
The team then take the shots to kill the terrorists
"Clear. Move down" Izuku ordered
"Moving" Kei reply as the team rappel down again
"Control center is in this floor" Izuku said as they reach the 25th floor "Kei, with me. Yuri, Roach, cover us" Izuku ordered
"Yes, sir" Roach and Yuri comply
Izuku and Kei grab a plasma glass cutter and cut the glass window in a circular shape. After cutting the glass, both Izuku and Kei enter the room
"Power system is in the back. Let's go" Izuku said then the two of them move inside the room and head towards the power system
"Patch them" Izuku ordered then him and Kei install a virus into the power system
After a few minutes, the virus install is complete
"Install complete" Kei said
"Get back to the ropes and hook up" Izuku ordered
"Hook up like you hook up with your girlfriend, Iz?" Kei tease
Izuku deadpan Kei "You want me to throw you out the damn building?" He threaten
"Hey, c'mon. I'm just joking" Kei said jokingly
"Well I'm not" Izuku said seriously before moving back to the window
"Ooh, spooky" Kei fake being afraid before moving back to the window
Izuku and Kei get back tot the window then hook up the ropes and get outside the building, back with Yuri and Roach
"Kei, kill it" Izuku ordered
"Lights out" Kei smirk before he activate the virus via a cellphone and shut down the building's power
"Beautiful. Move to the second phase" Izuku ordered then the team rappel down towards a balcony
As Delta 9 rappel down, 2 terrorists walk out to the balcony
"Hostiles, directly below us. Yuri, Roach, silence them" Izuku ordered
"Roger" Yuri and Roach comply as they move closer towards the terrorists on the balcony
"Take them out" Izuku ordered then both Yuri and Roach jump down and deploy their retractable tactical blade then stab the two terrorists dead
"Clear" Roach inform while Yuri wipe his blade and both Izuku and Kei joint the two on the balcony
"It'll be a matter of time before they realize what happen. Let's move" Izuku ordered
"Moving" Roach reply then the team began to move inside the building
As Delta 9 move through the room, Izuku suddenly pull Kei, who's behind him, forward towards him
"Wha-" Kei yelp surprise but cut off by a loud noise
"FIIIEEEWWW!!!" A super fast bullet suddenly fly pass Delta 9, it nearly hit Kei if Izuku didn't pull him forward
"What the hell was that?!" Roach yell surprise
"Sniper!" Yuri yell as he realize what just happen. Upon hearing what Yuri just yell, Delta 9 drop down and hide behind the office's pillars
"Holy shit! I owe you one, Iz" Kei said as he just now realize how close he is to death, again
"That bullet" Izuku said as he look at the sniper bullet that struck the wall
"A pink and dark blue fibers wrapped around a long pointy bullet.... There's only one sniper that I knew use that ammo" Yuri claim
"Yeah, her" Roach agrees
Izuku look at where the bullet came from "Lady Nagant" he said
"The only civilian sniper who have a better skill at sniping outside the military. She's tough. Even though neither me nor Iz ever fought her. From her history alone, she's a tough one" Kei claim
"Heh, not even Snipe sensei is a match for her. He claim it himself" Izuku claim as he tries to look at where Lady Nagant is hiding
"So what we do now? We can't call for reinforcement, and we can't wait here either" Roach ask
"If we move, we'll get shot. Only Delta among the four of us able to dodge Lady Nagant's bullet" Yuri said
"Yeah" Kei agrees before looking at Izuku "You found her?" He ask
"Negative. I'm still looking" Izuku reply
"There's only a few snipers I knew who could match her skill. Soap, Ghost, Alex, Frank, and you, Iz. So a sniper battle?" Kei ask
"I don't have a sniper, Kei" Izuku said before he pushes Kei away just in time when
"PRANG!!! FIIIEEEWWW!!!" A second bullet break a glass window and almost hit Kei, again
"What the fuck?! Where the hell is she sniping from?!" Kei yell surprise as the second bullet came from a different direction from the first
"Curving bullet, I should've know" Izuku gritted his teeth
"Great, now where she's actually sniping us from?" Roach ask annoyed
900 meters north, rooftop of Shinjuku Grand Tower
"Dodging 2 of my bullets? Well that's a first" Lady Nagant said before she read a file on a tablet 'Izuku Midoriya, quirk: observation, details: classified. Hmm, looks like he's like me. And the fact that he able to dodge my bullets is more than proof' She thought before firing another shot towards Delta 9
"FIIIEEEWWW!!!" Izuku move his head slightly as the bullet fly pass his face
"You want to play? Let's play" Izuku said rather intrigued
"What you're planning, Iz?" Kei ask
"You three stay here and finish the mission. I'll take care of her" Izuku said
"How? You don't have a sniper. Hell, where is she anyway?" Kei ask confuse
"She's rather close, around 900 meters north of us, Shinjuku Grand Tower" Izuku reply
"That close, eh?" Kei said rather surprise when another bullet strike the office room again "Okay, I trusted your sniper skills, but how you supposed to hit her without a sniper?" Kei ask
"Our rifle also not configure for that distances as well" Roach added
"It's not gonna be a sniper battle, I'm not playing her games" Izuku reply
"Then how you supposed to fight her?" Yuri ask confuse as the other members of Delta 9
"Close in and personal" Izuku smirk before he run just in time to dodge a bullet. Izuku continue to run before he grab his pistol then shoot at a glass window, breaking it, then jumping out from the window, straight to the ground
The rest of Delta 9 just watches in both amazement and dumbfounded
"He's fucking crazy" Yuri said astonished
"What the hell happened to him this pass year that he have some sort of suicide tendencies?" Kei ask confuse
"He went to high school" Roach simply said
Kei look at Roach for a few seconds "Well that explains a lot of thing" He shrug
"Yeah" Roach and Yuri agrees before Izuku radio call them
"I got Lady Nagant's attention. Finish the mission" Izuku ordered before cutting his call
"You all heard the man, let's move" Kei ordered
"Yes, sir" Roach and Yuri comply then they move out of the room and continue their original mission

As Izuku fall to the ground, he activate his thruster and evaded a bullet before thrusting himself towards the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. Izuku land on the building before wall running the building's wall
'As long as I stay behind these buildings and zigzagging my movement. Nagant will have a hard time tracking my trajectory' Izuku thought before he jump towards the next building
Izuku then jump from one building towards another building, trying to get into the Shinjuku Grand Tower to fight Lady Nagant. As Izuku get closer, he realize something
'She's not taking a shot? Conservative? Being careful? Or something-' Izuku's thought is cut as he maneuver his body to avoid a bullet. But unfortunately, another bullet, coming from a different direction struck Izuku's stomach, grazing the stomach quite severely
"Argh...! Fuck...!" Izuku curse in pain before he launch himself towards D Marks Nishi-Shinjuku Tower's window. Izuku broke the glass and landed on the room violently. Izuku grunt before he move to cover
'Shit! She waited for me to get closer so she could fire 2 consecutive shots, taking me by surprise. Damn, she's good' Izuku actually smirk by the "challenge" presented to him
'Looks like you are really that good, Izuku Midoriya. But you underestimate me, that's why I manage to hit you' Lady Nagant thought smirking
"Where are you?" Lady Nagant said as she look around the building, trying to fight Izuku. After some time trying to find Izuku, Lady Nagant found him. The only problem is, that Izuku is inside a room, and aiming his rifle... at her
Lady Nagant's eye widen, and before she had the chance to take a shot, Izuku fire first. Lady Nagant immediately take cover as the bullets strike the wall she's taking cover at

Izuku emptied his magazine then reload rapidly before firing again. While firing, Izuku run before jump out from the D Marks Nishi-Shinjuku Tower before igniting his thrusters and fly towards the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building while still shooting the wall where Lady Nagant hiding
"What this punk up to?" Lady Nagant said before she realize that the gunshot noise is getting louder and louder 'It's getting louder? No! It's getting closer!' She mentally yell before she fire a bullet upwards
The bullet curve around and head down straight towards Izuku. Izuku shoot the sniper bullet before emptying his magazine
'A chance!' Lady Nagant thought before she came out from cover and aim her sniper towards Izuku, who landed a few floors below the roof
"BANG!!!" Lady Nagant fire a shot but Izuku ignite his thruster and engage his exosuit, dash as super speed upwards, dodging the bullet completely
Lady Nagant didn't have time to react when Izuku suddenly jump up and grab the rifle barrel and spin upwards towards the roof
"Gotcha!" Izuku yell
"Oh? You think you've won?" Lady Nagant ask before he retract her sniper from her right elbow then deploy it from her left elbow, striking Izuku right in the stomach
"Ugh...!" Izuku grunt in pain
"The Safety Commission taught me everything I know" Lady Nagant claim before she fire a bullet that hit Izuku's head
Izuku crash down to the roof and grunt loudly, the shot just destroy his helmet and hit his head quite severely. Izuku grunt before he roll to his chest and struggle to get up
"And I know enough of you, too, Izuku Midoriya" Lady Nagant claim before she fire another bullet towards Izuku
With lightning fast reflexes, Izuku immediately stand up and move his right hand as if he just caught something, something fast
Lady Nagant look at Izuku surprised as he manage to move at inhuman speed despite the injury
"Being a hero and a soldier are two completely different thing. And everything you know about me..." Izuku said before he look at Lady Nagant then extend his right arm towards Lady Nagant "...is wrong" He finished as he open his right hand to show Lady Nagant's bullet falling down from his palm
Lady Nagant look with a shocked expression as she sees her bullet falling down "Clang...! Clang...! Clang...!" The bullet hit the ground
Being too busy getting shocked, Lady Nagant failed to notice Izuku is already in punching distance with her. By the time she did realize, it was too late. Izuku's fist already making contact with her chest. Time felt like slowing down for Lady Nagant as she slowly seeing herself being push backwards by Izuku's fists
And the next thing Lady Nagant know, she is flying in the air with an immense pain on her chest. She continue to fly backwards until she hit and destroy the wall behind her
"Gah...!" Lady Nagant grunt painfully by the impact with the wall 'Not a hint of hesitation. He recognized an enemy for who he was... and still leapt into action like it was the natural things to do' Lady Nagant thought as she see herself began to fall from the roof
Suddenly, Izuku grab Lady Nagant's rifle arm, preventing her from falling to her death
"Don't take me wrong, I'm making a gamble here, Nagant" Izuku said then he lift Lady Nagant up to the roof and let her rest against a wall
Izuku sign tiredly before try to remove his damaged helmet. Izuku grunt painfully as he remove his helmet, revealing the broken and bleeding left temple of his head "Fuck...! If wasn't for this helmet, I might've died" He said painfully before he inject a STIM shot that crystalized the blood, stopping the bleeding
"And you should've been. Like those Safety Commission bastards" Lady Nagant said grunting from pain
Izuku look at Lady Nagant with a bloodied face and flat expression "Are you fucking kidding me?" He ask annoyed
Lady Nagant glance at Izuku "This superpowered society is a gilded daydream seen through rose-colored glasses. But it's paper-thin. A fragile illusion. Say you bring back the status quo. Then what? History will just repeat itself. The public gets to stargaze at the bright and shiny side... while the dark truth gnaws away at someone else" She explain
Izuku look at Lady Nagant for a few seconds with annoyance before finally speaking "I don't care about the hero society, I don't give a damn or fuck about the hero society. I care about the entirety of Japan" Izuku claim seriously
Lady Nagant scoff " 'For the greater good'. Every hero says that, claiming that their justice is the true justice. All you're seeing is that sense of order they've manufactured. No wonder people tinged by it can't understand the truth" She explain
"The truth? The truth?! What the fuck you think I'm doing here? What do you think all these soldiers doing here? We're fighting for the entirety of Japan! Japan as a whole, not just for one group!" Izuku yell angrily
"Do you think I didn't do the same back then?" Lady Nagant ask, not looking at Izuku "Those bastards fool me to think that I'm doing it for Japan as well. I killed so many people, and it was called to preserve our sham society. But in truth, I doing what those bastards wanted for their own selfish wishes" She explain with venom in her voice
"And you think I'm doing the same?" Izuku ask
Lady Nagant scoff again "You people are always the same" She claim
Izuku stand in front of Lady Nagant, she then look up to Izuku "Let me make one thing clear, Nagant. I fight for Japan, not for hero society, not for hero committee, not to any hero. If saving the country meaning to destroy the hero society, then I will destroy it" Izuku claim angrily making Lady Nagant to look at Izuku with surprise
"Y-You will destroy them...?" Lady Nagant ask surprise
"The entirety of Japan as a nation is much more important than a group of freaks with some stupid ass colored costumes self-claiming to be heroes, when what they really does is the complete opposite of what heroes are" Izuku claim angrily
Lady Nagant look at Izuku for a second "You can be all talk about that" She said
"I am here trying to save this country for a group of assholes trying to wreck it. I fight for every citizen of this country, I fight for every students, doctors, police, soldiers, firefighters, nurses, artists, office workers, fisherman, miners, pilots, train conductors, drivers, every man, women, children, and elder in this country. I fight for them all, not just for a group of people. My responsibility as a soldier is to protect this country and everyone living on it" Izuku declare valiantly
Lady Nagant only look at Izuku, not saying anything
Izuku grab his pistol and switch it to his left hand "Now I'm giving you a choice" He said then he extend his right hand towards Lady Nagant "Fight with us" Izuku said before he retract his right hand then aim the pistol armed left hand at Lady Nagant's face "Or fight against us" He give Lady Nagant a choice
"How can I trust you?" Lady Nagant ask
"I'm giving you a choice to either fight with me or against me. Whether you can trust me or not is your own decision, not me giving you a choice" Izuku reply
"Then I just make two choices" Lady Nagant faintly smile
Izuku smile "Good" He said before grabbing his universal radio "Delta 9-2, Delta 9 actual. Sitrep" Izuku radio call Kei
"We manage to rescue most of the hostage, but 3 hostiles manage to get 3 hostages in knife's range. The heroes tries to negotiate, but we're getting nowhere" Kei reply
"I know you just switch side, but I'm gonna ask you a favor now. My team's in trouble, they need sniper support. Can I request you to do that?" Izuku requested
"How much will you do to protect the country?" Lady Nagant ask
"If All Might is corrupt and killing him meaning saving the country, then I will kill All Might" Izuku declare
Lady Nagant look at Izuku rather surprise "That much?" She ask astonished
"I'm willing to do above and beyond what is necessary to protect this country. That is my responsibility as a soldier" Izuku declare
"I'm starting to get annoyed by your patriotism" Lady Nagant said
"Patriotism and heroism are two completely different thing, Nagant. Can you do it?" Izuku ask
Lady Nagant smirk "Who do you think you're asking?" She said before getting serious "Do I need to kill them?" She ask
"Lethal force authorized, thought your choice" Izuku simply said
"Fine by me" Lady Nagant said as she takes aim towards the Public Safety Commission Building, 900 meters away
Inside the Public Safety Commission Building, Kei, Roach, Yuri and several heroes are in a Mexican standoff with the three remaining terrorists
"Stand back! I'm warning you, stand back!" A terrorist with claw like nails yell as he aim his claw at the hostage as two more terrorists holding another two hostages at almost the same way
"You have a clean shot?" Roach ask Yuri
"Nyet, they keep moving the hostages" Yuri denied
"Neither do I" Kei reply as well
"So what's the plan?" Roach ask
"Well..." Kei reply unsure when suddenly
"PRANG!!! FIIIEEEWWW!!!" A sniper bullet suddenly struck the claw terrorist's leg
"ARGH!!!" The claw terrorist scream in pain as he release the hostage
Everyone are shocked of what just happen. But before anyone can react
"FIIIEEEWWW!!! FIIIEEEWWW!!!" 2 more bullets struck the two remaining terrorists' legs, making them to scream in pain while releasing the hostages
Seeing an opportunity, Kei immediately give an order "Yuri, Roach, standby!"
"Get here! Get here!" The heroes call the hostages
A hero proactively grab the hostages and bring them to safety
"Hit 'em!" Kei ordered then the team shoot the downed terrorists, killing them
"Nice shots" Izuku praise as he watches the shot with his binocular
"Yeah" Lady Nagant reply before she retract her sniper from her elbow and look at Izuku's bloodied face "I'm sorry about your face" She apologize
"Meh, occupational hazard" Izuku shrug "And I've been through worse" He claim
"Okay, what just happen?" Roach ask confuse as the terrorists just getting hit by sniper's bullet
"These bullets... Iz!" Kei yell at the radio
"Relax, I'm alive and Lady Nagant's on our side" Izuku assure
"How sure are you that she's on our side?" Kei ask
"Because I said so, soldier" Lady Nagant suddenly speak on the radio
Kei look at Roach and Yuri for a few seconds "What the fuck did you told her?" He ask
"Why we fight, who we fight for, and what's necessary to bring back the country to the right path" Izuku reply
"I thought you hate pep talk?" Kei said
"That's not important now. JGA's 1st Division should reach our location in 10 mikes. We'll rally with them" Izuku said as he look down on the ground to see the roads
"What the next mission?" Kei ask
"We're gonna push towards Nakano city. Despite the gas, there's still a lot of civvies alive. So kill the bad guys and protect the civvies" Izuku explain
"Sounds like a plan" Kei reply before cutting off the radio call
Izuku look at Lady Nagant "You gonna fight with us, right?" He ask
"That's what I choose. But please tell me I didn't just trade Public Commission with the military" Lady Nagant said
"If I betray what I said to you today. If I became the very person who you kill that send you to jail. Then you have my permission... to kill me. Anytime, anywhere" Izuku declare seriously
"But that just you" Lady Nagant said
"True. So if the military or Ranger Corp became corrupt, can I rely on you to fight with me, against the corrupt?" Izuku ask
Lady Nagant smile "You maybe not a hero, but you damn sure speak like one. You just get yourself an ally" she claim
"Good, then let's get to work" Izuku said seriously as he look at the multitude of transport aircrafts flying towards his location
