U.A. High School is preparing for a big event. And just like any other school out there, the event is...
"Um... we're going to have a school festival" Aizawa said while wearing his yellow sleeping bag
"Schooent!" The students cheer happily
*Schooent = super normal school event
"School festival!" Mineta jump in excitement
"It's super normal school event!" Sero cheer
"Let's decide what we're gonna do!" Toru cheer
Kirishima stand up concern "Mr. Aizawa, is this really okay? To be so carefree in these times?" He ask worried
"Kirishima... you've changed" Kaminari said surprise
"But it's true, villains are flourishing right now!" Kirishima said worried
"You're right. That's a very reasonable opinion. However, U.A. isn't just about the hero course. If the sports festival is the big moment for the hero course, the school festival is for the others: the support course, general studies, and business course students to shine. It doesn't get as much attention as the sports festival, but for them, it's an event they look forward to" Aizawa explain
"And there are those who are feeling stressed by the current conditions, which, starting with the dorm system, came about because of the hero course" Aizawa added
Kirishima sit down "Thinking about it that way, there's no excuse for not holding it" He said
"Yeah. That's why we can't just say we won't have it. Unlike past years, this year, other than some of the people involved, the festival will be just for the school. Even if we aren't the focus, each class still needs to participate with something" Aizawa said
Aizawa move to the wall on the side of the class "You need to decide that today... zzzzz..." He said before falling asleep
'He fell asleep!' The class though surprise
Izuku and Yaoyorozu then walk in front of the class and lead them to determine what they will do at culture festival
"Well, since the one who supposed to be doing this is wasted over there" Izuku look at Aizawa who fall a sleep on the wall "Me and Yaoyorozu will do it instead. If any of you have suggestion, raise you hand" Izuku said
As soon Izuku finish that sentence, the whole class exploded into chaos as everyone raise their hands and yelling "Me, me, me, me!"
"Their attitude changed so fast!" Yaoyorozu yelp surprise as she struggle to deal with them
Izuku hold his face, unaffected by the chaos "I'm surrounded by idiots" He mumble annoyed
Izuku look at his classmate "All right, Kaminari what you got?" He ask Kaminari
"Let's do a maid cafe!" Kaminari suggested
"Maids... that is actually pretty nice, not a bad idea" Izuku like the idea
"That's too tame, Kaminari!" Mineta scream while raising his hand
"Ah shit, yes, Mineta?" Izuku point him
"A boo-" Mineta is cut by Izuku throwing a book to his face at 200MPH, the force is so great it make him fly and hit the wall behind the classroom
"Don't mind him, he'll lived" Izuku said getting back to his professional stance
"You sure?" Sato ask sweatdropping
"I am" Izuku reply sternly
"Does anyone have other suggestions?" Yoayorozu ask
"I got a better idea. Go grab a piece of paper and write down your suggestion, then we'll decide what to do next" Izuku ordered, the class then grab a piece of paper and write down their suggestion
10 minutes later, Yaoyorozu collect the papers and give it to Izuku
"Okay, everyone has submitted their suggestion, let's see what we got" Izuku read the suggestion one-by-one
"A mochi shop from Uraraka. Traditional Japanese" Izuku said. Uraraka smile widely
"An arm-wresting tournament from Kirishima. Manly" Izuku said. Kirishima harden his arms in excitement
"A fun house from Toru. Sounds interesting" Izuku said
"Yay!" Toru cheer happily
"A Crepe shop from Sato. I'm sure it taste as good as your cake" Izuku said
"It is and will be better" Sato claim
"A dance from Mina. Energic like she is" Izuku said
"I am energic!" Mina cheer
"Local history from Iida. Expected from a diligent student" Izuku said. Iida fix his glasses proudly
"Let's sing "Frog Song" in a round from Tsu. Kero, kero" Izuku said
"Kero" Asui croak happily
"A petting zoo from Koda. That's pretty cute" Izuku said. Koda nod happily
"Hand-made soba from Todoroki. That's your favorite" Izuku said
"They are delicious" Todoroki said nonchalantly
"A death match from Bakugou. Very predictable of him" Izuku said
"What the fuck does that mean?!" Bakugou yell angrily
"Shut up!" Izuku yell annoyed
"A feast of the students of darkness from Tokoyami. Halloween is on October, not November" Izuku said
"Late October and early November is Halloween for us" Dark Shadow said. Tokoyami nod
"Aoyama twinkling show from Aoyama. The fuck?" Izuku said
"Merci!" Aoyama spin dazingly
"A skit or something from Jiro. I didn't expect this from her, but okay" Izuku said
Kaminari look at Jiro confuse
"Asian cafe from Sero. Just like his room" Izuku said. Sero smirk
"A dance performance from Ojiro. The same as Mina's" Izuku said. Ojiro and Mina nod at each other
"A takoyaki shop from Shoji. Isn't that cannibalism?" Izuku said
"Very funny, Midoriya" Shoji said
Later, all the suggestions are presented on the board
"Okay, all the suggestion including Mineta's questionable one, Yaoyorozu's study session and mine's advanced paintball battle is on the board" Izuku said
"I'll eliminate the ones that are inappropriate, impossible, or confusing" Yaoyorozu said then she eliminate Mineta's Tokoyami's, Aoyama's, and Bakugou's
"Merciless" Tokoyami commented
"Don't ask us in the fist place then!" Bakugou yell
"Why the paintball is not eliminate? We can't do paintball in a room this small" Mineta complain
"If we wanted, we could use the auditorium or the sports ground as our area" Izuku explain
"We can dance in the open!" Mine give a peace sign
"Or make a large cafe/restaurant" Sato added
"The local history presentation seems kinda boring" Toru said
"That's true" Sero agrees
"It's fine, but the others seems more fun" Ojiro said
"I cannot go against the consensus!" Iida said defeated
"We do study session all the time" Kaminari said
"I though maybe it would be help..." Yaoyorozu said embarrassed
"Can we combine all the food suggestions into one?" Sero suggested
"Don't think crepes and soba would clash?" Kirishima ask
"You can't have crepes at an Oriental place" Jiro said
"We should so a fun house!" Toru suggested
"What does that mean?" Kaminari ask confuse
"This is tougher than I expected" Midoriya look at the suggestions
"We haven't been able to come to a consensus..." Yaoyorozu said worried when the bell rang
Aizawa wake up and walk to the door "That was a very illogical meeting. Decide what you'll do by tomorrow morning. If you don't... I'll make it a public lecture" Aizawa said before walking out
"Public lecture?!" The class yell surprise
"That's juts studying!" Kaminari complain
"He's joking, right?" Sero ask
"I never see him laugh before. Well, we better decide fast, or we'll be go down in history as the most boring class in U.A.'s school festival history" Izuku said
The class imagine being called boring by their classmates or oven by the public as a whole, they began to sweat nervously
"Let's decide by tonight, guys!" Kirishima yell nervously
"Yeah!" The class agrees nervously
Later that night, 1-A alliance dorm
"Huh? Where are the interns?" Ojiro ask as Midoriya, Uraraka, Kirishima, Asui, and Tokoyami is missing
"Extra classes. They can't participate in discussion so they said they'd do what we decided" Kaminari reply
"Midoriya also entrusted me to replace him" Iida raise his hand
"What about Bakugou?" Ojiro ask
"Sleeping" Kaminari reply
"Everyone, I took a step back and though about it again... and the stress we cause the other courses that Mr. Aizawa was talking about, I think we should do something to help them relieve that" Iida said
"Midoriya also said that what we do need to entertain other, not just ourselves. If we fail then we'll be brand as selfish by the other courses" Iida added
"That's right. Those aiming to be heroes cannot cause trouble for others without doing anything about it" Yaoyorozu said
"In that case, honestly, I don't know we can offer U.A. students who know Lunch Rush's cooking anything that could satisfy their stomachs" Iida claim
"Oh, do you mean we shouldn't do food?" Sero ask
"Personally, that's what I think. If we think about how to serve students in the other courses..." Iida said
"If you put it that way... it would be rude to them if we were the only ones having fun, like Midoriya said" Shoji said
"It's frustrating, but we can't beat Lunch Rush" Sato said frustrated
"Then..." Toru look at Yaoyorozu's laptop
"If we look at the ones falling under experiences, we get... maid cafe, petting zoo, or fun house?" Yaoyorozu said
"A zoo would be hard to keep sanitary, wouldn't it?" Sero ask
"Hmm, stress relief, huh?" Toru wonder
"We can't do a funny skit?" Jiro suggested
"Watching amateurs perform is really stressful, you know" Sero told Jiro
"It's fun if we all dance together..." Mina said pouting
"A dance... might be good" Todoroki walk towards the laptop
"Huh? I'm getting support from someone super unexpected!" Mina said surprise
Todoroki grab the laptop and search something "Hang on a second. There was something, wasn't there...? I don't know what it's called, but it's the one where everyone's having a good time" Todoroki show them a video of a rock concert "Oh, something like this" He said
"This isn't something I'd expect from Todoroki. Did you turn into one of those "party people", Todoroki?!" Mineta said surprise
"No, I agree with Iida's opinion that we should provide stress relief for the other courses. In order to do that, don't you think it would be good to offer a place where everyone can have fun?" Todoroki suggested
"The idea came from our supplemental classes for the provisional licenses" Todoroki added
"What kind of supplemental classes are they taking...?" Sato ask confuse as he imagine Todoroki and Bakugou are under disco ball dancing "Stayin' alive"
"I see... song and dance, huh?" Iida said intrigue
"I'll say it again, but watching amateurs perform is really stressful, you know" Sero said nervously
"I can teach people how to dance!" Mina claim
"Kirishima's told me that Ashido teached him how to dance and he mastered the steps and moves in just one day! Ashido's instruction is proven to work!" Kaminari said
"Yep! Kirishima is a good dancer!" Mina agrees
"Wait, you amateurs! Dance is about rhythm! In other words, music! Party people need the ultimate music to dance to!" Mineta dance around to prove his point
"If we're talking about music..." Toru said as everyone is look at Jiro
"Huh? What?" Jiro blush by the suddenly attention
"We can play live music on you instruments!" Toru said
"Wait a second!" Jiro yell
"What's wrong? You're really good at playing and teaching people how to play, and you always looks like you're having a lot of fun when you play music! I want to hear your music!" Toru requested
"Ashido... and the others... their hobbies are all rooted in her work, right?" Jiro play with her cord "Mine is really just a hobby... honestly, I don't think it's something I can boast about publicly..." Jiro said embarrassed
Kaminari look at Jiro, he thinking about her room and all her instruments. He then approach Jiro "It's super cool to be able to play so many instruments!" He praise Jiro, surprising her
"Jiro, it's a technique that might be able to make people smile. I think that's definitely something you could use in you her work!" Koda claim
"Yeah, you don't have to be embarrassed to do something you are good at. We won't judge you" Kaminari claim smiling. Jiro blush and scratch her head
"I understand where you two are coming from, but the decision should be left up to Jiro herself..." Yaoyorozu said
"After being told all that... not to do it... wouldn't be rockin' at all, wouldn't it?" Jiro ask blushing lightly
"Yeah!" The class cheer excited
"Then, Class 1-A will be doing a live performance and dance to create a partying atmosphere!" Kaminari cheer
"Yeah!" The class agree
The next day, St. Luke's International Hospital, Tokyo, Japan
Izuku and Mirio, in their civilian clothes enter Eri's room in the hospital. Eri is moved here from a hospital in Mito prefecture because of better equipment for dealing with her quirk
"Eri!" Izuku and Mirio greet the little girl
"Sorry I couldn't come see you sooner" Izuku apologize
"Here's fruit basket!" Mirio carry a fruit basket "Eat some if you'd like! Is there a fruit you like? Can I try guessing?" Mirio said as he give her the basket
"It's peaches, right? 'Cause you're like a peach!" Mirio said
"Apples..." Eri corrected silently
"That's what I though as well! " Mirio quickly corrected "Then, let's peel it! Since it's an apple!" Mirio said
Behind them, Aizawa and a doctor and nurse is standing on the door. Aizawa remember the conversation from last night
Flashback
"Eri wants to see Midoriya?" Asui ask
"Yeah. Strictly speaking, she's concerned about Midoriya and Togata. Apparently, it's her first request since being admitted to hospital" Aizawa said
"Can't blame her for concerning me" Izuku look at his left arm "I did lost my entire left arm back then" He said
End of flashback
"I wonder if it'll be okay... you said that it would be better for her to be kept away from anything that would remind her of the incident..." The nurse said worried
"I was worried about her power going out of control. However, there's no need to worry, at least for now. Right now, there's little to no energy left in that girl to go out of control" The doctor explain
"This whole time, even when I'm moved here, I was thinking... about when you rescued me. But I didn't know your names. I wanted to know you names" Eri said
"My name is Izuku Midoriya. I also have another name of Delta 9-1, or if you wanted, you could call me Delta" Izuku introduce himself
"Delta" Eri said
"Yes, that's right" Izuku nod
"My name is Mirio Togata. My hero name is Lemillion" Mirio introduce himself
"Hero name?" Eri ask
"It's like a nickname" Izuku reply
"Delta. Lemillion. The pretty girls that carry me.... All of you... were injured badly because of me" Eri said with guilt "Because of me, you all suffered... I'm sorry.... It... it was my fault that you lost you left arm, Delta..." Eri tear up
Izuku suddenly felt a painful zap on his left arm. He clench his left fist, but relaxed and pat Eri's head with that hand
"Eri. My left arm is here. You heal them, remember?" Izuku said then he wipe her tears "And no one though they were suffering. This is what we all think:" Izuku said then he glance at Mirio
" "I'm glad Eri is okay!" There's no point in apologizing to someone who doesn't exist. Don't worry about it" Mirio reassure
"Everyone fought because they wanted to see you smile, little girl" Izuku told Eri
Eri tries to smile, she even pull her cheeks, but still unable to smile "I'm sorry... how do you smile again...?" Eri ask tearing up
Izuku and Mirio froze, they might have saved Eri physically, but emotionally she still under Overhaul's shadow. The mission is still not complete, yet
'Even in death, you still irritated me, eh, Overshit...!' Izuku though irritated 'We need to cheer her up... cheer her up...' Izuku though when he remember a conversation last night
Flashback
"We're doing what?" Kirishima ask surprise as he and the intern students are back from their extra classes
"We're doing a live performance and dancing! Come on, Kirishima. I already taught you how to dance!" Mina grab Kirishima's arms
"Dancing, huh? I don't know how to dance" Uraraka said
Mina zoom to Uraraka "I can teach you!" She yell making Uraraka to yelp surprise
"Our live performance and dancing will cheer everyone in U.A.!" Mina claim
End of flashback
"Bingo jackpot" Izuku smirk, he stand up and face Aizawa "Eraser, could Eri leave the hospital for a day?" He ask
"It's not impossible, where you going to take her?" Aizawa ask
"A school that preparing for a festival, a close festival to be precise" Izuku reply
"The school festival!" Mirio immediately understood Izuku's intention
"School festival?" Eri ask confuse
"Eri, this is a great idea! A school festival is a festival that take place at out school! The people at school plan for everyone at school to have fun, and they sell food like candy apples!" Mirio explain
"Candy apples...?" Eri ask confuse
"It's a type of candy where they make apples even more sweeter!" Mirio explain
"Even sweeter..." Eri drool
"All right. I'll talk it over with the principal" Aizawa grab his phone
"So what do you say, Eri?" Izuku ask
"I... though... about the people who saved me... when I was saved... I though about how I wanted to know more about everyone" Eri said
"I'll tell you more than you want to know! Let's work on persuading the principal to let her go to the school" Mirio said
"Leave that one to me, I have a very particular set of skills to convince someone" Izuku said putting his fingers together
"Is how you do it, is what I think it is?" Mirio ask
"Oh, it's just a small talk, small talk" Izuku smile slightly sinister, luckily Eri couldn't see it
"All right" Mirio decide not to ask further "I'm on a break from the school, right now. So I can stay with you the whole time on our date" Mirio told Eri
"Date?" Eri ask confuse
"Whoa, careful there, Senpai. The Feds might chasing your tails if you said something like that" Izuku warn
"I didn't meant it in that direction" Mirio corrected
"Still, it sounds wrong" Izuku said then he get down to Eri's eye level "So instead of a date, how about a sibling vacation, or a father and daughter vacation, instead?" He offer Eri
"Father..." Eri look at Izuku surprise
"You're a little too young to be a father, Midoriya" Mirio pointed out
"Well then, sibling-" Izuku is cut by Eri grabbing his hand
"I'll do it!" Eri yell surprising Izuku and Mirio "I want to go there with you" She said with eyes of hope
Izuku look at Eri, then look at Mirio, before looking back to Eri "All right, time to convince some people" Izuku said smiling
