I burst into the house unafraid of my "parents" actions. "WHAT IS THIS ABOUT ME BEING SOLD!?"
"Young lady! How dare you burst into my house!" I can't believe my mom was so calm about this!
"No! Don't scold me now! I want answers!" I screamed not thinking of the possible consequences.
"Do not yell at your mother!" I can't believe my stepfather Jarred was defending her. Then again why am I surprised. He's no better than her.
My parents divorced as a kid so when my mom married Jarred, he later started to abuse me both mentally and physically. A few weeks later he then manipulated my mother to do the same. My life has never been the same.
"I will do as I please!" I yelled back as I could feel the heat rising in my face as it was turning my face red with heat. Before I could get another word, my mother had grabbed me by my long black hair. She then dragged me to the wall next to the door. As I have been through this many times before, all I did was block. But the difference with this one was it ended rather quickly.
"I do not believe I payed you so that I could come to find her being beaten!" There was a tall man standing in front of me when I had opened my eyes. From what I could see he had a black tuxedo and a neat tie hanging from his neck. He had nice black hair as well. It was combed backwards in the direction of the back of his neck.
After I finished admiring his appearance I finally processed the words he just said. He's the one that bought me? Well if he's protecting me, then maybe this won't be too bad.
