I sat in the main room with alpha Travis, and Jameson, the pack beta, as well as the son of the alpha, Logan. The room silent as if someone had died.
I knew that we would need Hannalee in the room for the explanation to go well, but I also knew that she wouldn't be happy about having to tell the pack the things she had originally wanted to keep secret even from me. I just had to hope that she understood the importance of the situation. Especially if she truly agreed with me on the idea of reuniting the separated races.
When Samantha led Hannalee into the room, it took all of my will not to rush to her side, instead standing up and waiting for her to come to me. Her blue hair flowed in waves, having clearly been done specially, and she wore a pale purple sun dress that brought out the brightness of her purple eyes. Her cheeks were slightly pinker, with applied blush and her lips shown pink in the light of the room. Sam had clearly had her fun with giving Hannalee an unnecessary makeover. Though I would be lying if I said the sight didn't go straight to my cock.
"Hey" I smiled like a school boy as she approached me.
She smiled back, small and shy "Good morning."
For just a moment, everything felt perfect, her coming to me, free of her restraint and self control. But I had to remember that we were in the main room of the alpha's home and he was waiting for an explanation of what was going on.
"Let's sit" I gestured for her to sit down next to me on the couch and she quickly obliged.
It felt right to have her next to me, leaning ever so slightly closer.
"Did you dye your hair?" Logan asked, sounding young despite being well into the changes of puberty.
She hesitated, then said "No, it's natural. Like my eyes."
Logan moved to stand in front of her, looking into her eyes with the intense curiosity of a typical 13-year old.
"Whoa" he exclaimed excitedly.
"Logan, sit down" Alpha Travis ordered, clearly agitated.
Logan looked uncomfortable as he walked way from us and over to his mother.
"Now, I think I would like to hear whatever this story is that you have to tell us" Jameson said, layering power into his voice as if that would be enough to command me.
Not surprisingly, Hannalee didn't even react a little to the dominant tone he tried to take.
Silence filled the room as none of us really knew where to start with this conversation.
"I wasn't originally human" Hannalee burst, radiating discomfort.
"Dante said that you were newly bitten, so what were you originally?" Alpha Travis asked, no emotion in his tone whatsoever.
Hannalee was clearly hesitant to say anything, I could see that just from looking at her, but she had to understand how important it was to be open about everything. Especially if we wanted to change the world with what we knew.
"I come from somewhere else. Somewhere far away from here. A place that can only be reached through a special, magic gateway. I'm from a race known as the protectors. Guardians of the realms and the many races." She spoke quietly, but firmly.
"Realms? And Races? What on earth are you talking about?" Jameson asked, annoyance in his voice.
"Be silent, Jameson" alpha Travis ordered.
I would have laughed if it wouldn't have been completely inappropriate.
