Lapin Rabbit. She had been thinking of that name since she decided to become an adventurer. She loves rabbits. She especially likes their long ears, and has several rabbits in her current home.
"Good to look at, good to keep, good to finish, and the meat tastes good too."
Even now, she has one rabbit in front of her that is convulsing in desperation.
"It's a cute twitch. I'm going to get some meat before I go."
Today, She's finally going to the adventurer's store to register. She'll even dress up for the occasion. First impressions are important for adventurers.
"Oh, yes..."
With a smile on her face, she pulls out a dagger from her waist and cuts off the ears of a rabbit that seems to have run out of energy and has stopped moving.
"Impact is important, right?"
She put the dagger back in her waist, took one of the ears in each hand, put it to her head, and muttered a mysterious incantation in her mouth. She took her hands away from the rabbit ears, but they remained on her head due to some mysterious force.
"It's a Lapin Rabbit! Pyon!"
With a wink, one of the rabbit ears twitched.
"Wish me luck, pyon"
After greeting the house, which was empty except for her rabbit, in a loud voice, Lapin walked lightly down the path in front of the house to the street. She lives in what is known as a house in the middle of nowhere. It was a long way from the road, and it was also a long way from the town. This time, she's going to a big town farther away than the one she usually goes to in order to register as an adventurer. She was naturally pumped up.
"Pyon, Pyon It's Pyon-Pyon, Pyon!"
The words that came out of her mouth no longer made any sense. However, as if to pour cold water on such a pleasant mood, She saw a group of people at the end of the path who were of bad character, and who she could tell at a glance were not adults leading a proper life.
Lapin is not an adventurer yet. She's not even a fledgling adventurer, she's just a girl with a slightly odd ending who has decided to become an adventurer.
She's also just a hokey character that she just decided on the ending of just before she left home.
But this area is basically a straight road. While she is thinking about how difficult it is to avoid the bushes, the men also notice Lapin.
"What is it? Weird Woman ...?"
"There's a weird woman with rabbit ears on her head, right?"
The men looked a little unsure, perhaps because of Lapin's strange outfit.
"That's rude, Pyon"
Lapin's rabbit ears are not a decoration. They function properly as her auxiliary hearing. They are not just accessories that can twitch uselessly.
Of course, the men didn't know that.
"But it's okay, right? A woman is still a woman even if she's dressed weird.
"If we play around with her and then sell her off, it's twice the fun."
"We took a break away from the main road, which was a good thing."
The distance between she and the smirking men is still a bit open, though, but if we keep walking, she'll soon reach them.
"Oh my god, it's so annoying. ...nya...pyon"
The immediate characters blur. Each of the men seemed to have a large knife around their waist, but they didn't seem to think it was necessary to use it on a single woman, and made no pretense of touching it.
Just a disgusting gaze plastered all over Lapin's body.
"Wow ... is disgusting ....Pyon..."
It's not that she didn't expect them to look at her that way. But it's not like she wouldn't have felt bad if she had.
"What are you doing here, little girl?"
"It's not safe to walk alone."
The men moved to block the way. Some of the seated men also stood up.
"You're the ones in danger, Pyon"
"Pyon...?"
They were caught off-guard for a moment and the air went silent. Then, three seconds later
"Da-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!"
"Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!"
"Pyon! Pyon!"
A huge laugh burst out. As she watched the men belly laugh.
"Shut up!Pyon"
Lapin tried to walk through the men. But
"Well, well, little girl."
The man put his hand on her shoulder. Lapin's hand jerked for a moment, but the man didn't notice.
"I don't know where you're going, but would you mind hanging out with me for a bit?"
"No, I won't, Pyon. I've got to get to town before the sun goes down, Pyon"
"Don't say that."
Several men surrounded Lapin at the man's sign.
"Go ahead and play with me. Come on."
The men around her reached out their hands.
"It's no fun to play, Pyon"
Lapin, holding a dagger in each hand, responded. Both blades were wet with blood.
"What?"
"I put up with you earlier, but you persisted."
Before they knew it, the tip of their wrist was gone.
"Unlike rabbits, I don't enjoy it, Pyon"
"Rab...what...?
The men around me still couldn't grasp the situation. There was a pause.
"Oh my God, my hand!"
The first man who called out to her began to fuss.
"And you're too loud, Pyon"
A red streak appeared on the man's neck.
