That night Kana snuggled up to her babies and slept with them, leaving Creige by his lonesome. It was originally supposed to be a husband and wife's first night in over a hundred years, but Kana got dragged away by the girls. Although disappointed, he was not mad. He felt it was a good thing that the girls got to spend a bit more time with their mother. Creige did not sleep at all, he only checked on Kana and the girls before heading outside and sitting on a rock overlooking the fresh gap in the mountain range. "Hey, old man, is this world really that good for powering up?"
"Oh? You knew I was here?" The old man smiled as he walked over and sat next to Creige. He reached into his sleeve and pulled out a tray with a tea set on it. It floated in the air in front of them.
"If I couldn't sense you standing behind me, then I wouldn't have survived so long in that dark world you sent me to." Creige responded as he took the cup of tea he was handed.
