But those who were not could not resist turning themselves into bloodless husks as the blood was drained from their body. This spell that Grendal activated did not care for age. As for Kana and her family, they stood in their front yard and looked up at the sky that acted as a river of blood flowing up towards the heavens. "It seems our feelings were correct."
