(Jordan)
After many failed and excruciatingly painful attempts at changing my t-shirt, I finally gave up. I could never get it off by myself anyway. Taking Rose's advice, I called Alec. I wondered how he was feeling having seen Jo after 2 years. Although the look on his face didn't give away much last night, I doubted he was really as unbothered as he looked.
The phone rang and I waited for him to answer. It rang and rang and rang until finally, Alec picked it up. "Rise and shine, sleepyhead."
"Hello to you too, Alexander." I sat down on the couch on which Rose had slept last night. Had it been up to me I would have never let her sleep on the couch. My bed is where I preferred her. I leaned back on the couch a whiff of Rose's scent entered my nostrils as I inhaled; a fresh summer breeze.
"How's the arm?" he asked. I heard a car honk in the background.
"I've seen better days. Where are you?"
