"Say something, Maddy," I said.
Maddy stood in front of me, leaning against the kitchen counter, staring at me with wide-eyed astonishment.
She blinked.
Once.
Twice.
And then finally spoke, "I'm sorry I got a little tongue-tied at the part where you KISSED JORDAN IN FRONT OF MAX!" she exploded. The shock in Maddy's voice was in perfect sync with the look on her face.
I had finally spilled the beans and told her everything that had happened from last night's dinner to today's infamous kiss.
Even though I was extremely furious at Maddy for hiding her conversation with Max, I felt a weight being lifted off my shoulders as I confided in her.
"Well, will you get over it because that monstrosity is headed here for some reason," I walked over to the couch and sat myself down.
Taking a sip of water from the bottle in my hand, I sighed.
"You kissed Jordan Parker..." she stared at me with a blank expression.
