The only thing I was able to do was stare in terror.

"I guess further fabricating makes no sense..." Kaan finally said, sadness evident in his voice. "I didn't expect something so trivial to give me away..." he took a deep breath. "Yes, it's true... my family name is Cadreesh..."
My legs almost gave up on me. I heard Arith's loud growl from outside. I dared a look at Sril.
He was sitting with his head down, his slender fingers clenching the navy-blue fabric of his bed sheets... The realization made an ice-cold chill creep up in my chest.
"You knew about this... You knew from the very beginning..."
"I did..." he whispered.
