"Now now Y/N, you don't want to make everyone scared of you on the first day already," Schlatt said with a teasing tone.
"Oh Schlatt...you knew that was exactly what I was gonna do~, "she said in the same tone while smirking and putting her elbow on his shoulder and looking at the crowd again.
"At least try and be nice to gain their trust then!" he harshly whispered.
She sighed and walked up to the front of the stage again. Everyone who was talking looked up again in silence.
"It seems that we have gotten off on the wrong foot." Y/N said with a sweet smile, confusing people again. 'Is this the same person that so intimidating and evil a second ago?' people thought.
"I'm very sorry. I've been training to be a soldier or warrior since I was five years old so I can't really express a lot of emotions." She said in a sad tone.
Most people began to sympathize with her, some people were still skeptical.
"Let me explain why Schlatt invited me here. He asked me to come to his country to fight in a war that I've heard about."
Tommy's POV
"Pssshh what can a woman do in a fight with men" I whispered. This is stupid. We are still going to win, we have The Blade!
"Tommy be quiet!" Wilbur whispered to me," you don't even know who she is..."
'But she's a woman, what can she do?' I thought, crossing my arms and looking to the side.
Y/N's POV
I smiled hearing the blond boy's comment. I started laughing a bit, drawing everyone's attention back to me. I pointed to the blond boy in one movement, making some people gasp.
"You," I said with almost no emotion...
"Me?" he said obviously very nervously, pointing to himself.
"yes, you." I said," Let's get one thing straight...just because I'm a woman. "I said while throwing an ender pearl so that I appeared right in front of his face, "doesn't mean I can't fight..." I said right in his face, making him shiver and back away.
No one's POV
Everyone was very surprised when the girl suddenly teleported in front of Tommy. Some snickered at the boy's nervousness, while others were just as nervous as he was.
The girl then turned away and began walking.
"Oh and..." she began, slightly turning her head to face Tommy again." Underestimate me again...and it will be the last thought you EVER have." She calmly said, now turning away to walk back again." And that goes for all of you."
Everyone silently gulped, no one dared to make a sound.
She made her way up to the stage again and clearing her throat.
"Again, I'm sorry for coming off like that. I have been discriminated against my entire life. People telling me that I could never be a true worrier just because of my gender. I don't mean to threaten you, It's just that I hate people that judge people based on their gender." she said very sweetly. "Like I was saying before being so rudely interrupted... I have been asked by Schlatt to participate in this 'war'. However Schlatt has told me about this war, and I know very well that Schlatt's stories are very one-sided. So...I will decide which side of the war I will fight on, even if it's against Schlatt.
Schlatt's face formed from a smirk to a look of irritation and shock," Y/N WHAT THE HELL?! THAT'S NOT THE AGREEMENT WE HAD YOU BITCH!"
Many gasps could be heard from the audience, some even partially drawing their weapons just in case a fight broke out amongst the two on stage.
Y/N harshly turned around facing Schlatt. He now comprehended what he had just said to the female ad began slowly backing up. The said female started walking towards Schlatt.
"WAIT, Y/N, I DIDN'Y MEAN IT! YOU KNOW ME AND MY BIG MOUTH, ALWAYS SAYING THINGS I REGRET!" He said very nervously.
Y/N just took steps towards Schlatt not saying a single word but staring deeply into his eyes menacingly.
Some people in the crowd were worried for Schlatt's safety since they heard the stories of 'The Beast" before. Others were confused as to why this single person could make Schlatt so nervous. For goodness' sake, this was the man that demanded Tubbo be executed in front of everyone.
Once the girl got close enough to Schlatt she decided to speak, loudly enough to still be heard from the crowd." You better watch your mouth Schlatt, it will get you nowhere in life." she said calmly, leaving Schlatt and the rest in the crowd in shock that she didn't blow a fuse or at least draw her sword or ax.
She made her way towards the podium again, leaving a shocked yet relieved Schlatt behind her.
"Let's get one thing straight." she said addressing everyone again," I hate governments, or people in general, that think they are superior and who think only they have a say in anything. In my opinion, that is not how a country or kingdom should be ruled. I DO NOT work under anyone, I am my own person with the own opinions, and as such. I will not hurt anyone in this kingdom unless driven to do so." she said with a genuine smile, putting everyone at ease once again.
"With that being said..." she said with a heartfelt smile," I hope we can get along and become friends."
Most people were optimistic to try and get the girl on their side of the war, others were still skeptical of her.
She was just hoping she could make some actual friends, and not the type of friends she had in the past.
she was excited to have a true and genuine friendship with someone, but at the same time she, unfortunately, has to keep her guard up.
