Chapter 50 - Leaving Old Stone

As soon as Elena's messy room was lit up by the first sunlight of the day, Minos gradually opened his eyes and yawned.

At the moment, Minos was lying with a beautiful woman hugging him while resting her head on his chest.

Taking a look at the beautiful face and the alluring body that was in his embrace without being separated by even a single layer of cloth, Minos recalled his last night's activities with Elena.

The two had spent most of the night 'playing' with each other, so the young Stuart was still feeling slightly sleepy.

In a few moments, Minos slowly got out of bed, trying not to wake the sleeping beauty who was sticking to him like a small kitten. He then went to the bathroom next to the room and took a nice cold shower to wake up completely.

After a few minutes, while he was coming out of the bathroom with wet hair and a white towel wrapped around his waist, a pair of beautiful eyes were fixed at him, it belonged to the beautiful blonde, who was asleep not long ago and had woken up was staring at Minos with a smile on her face.

"Good morning. Are you leaving?"

"Good Morning. And yes, I will be leaving soon. However, I have to resolve some issues before leaving the Old Stone," Minos nodded as he started to put on his clothes.

Elena got up from the bed and approached Minos and like a wife started to help him button his shirt, "Oh? So, you're leaving today… Well, don't forget to come to see me the next time you come here, hehe…"

"Haha, you can come to the Black Plain too. It won't be long before that place becomes the best part of the north of the Central Continent!" Minos said with a confident smile on his face.

"Who knows, maybe in the future I will come with Elen sometimes…" she beamed bringing her red succulent lips closer to Minos'.

The duo kissed for a few seconds and then bid farewell. After that, Minos headed towards where his carriage and his soldiers were waiting.

"Good morning, guys. Let's go back to the Olson Hotel."

It didn't take long for Minos' group to arrive at the hotel.

When they arrived at the rented apartment, the rest of the soldiers were already having their breakfast while Ruth sat in a chair, sipping a cup of tea.

"Hmph, I thought you weren't going to come back," she said in a disgruntled manner.

"Haha, I'm sorry for making you wait for me. But don't worry, today we are going back for the Black Plain, so you better get ready soon," Minos replied.

"Back to the Black Plain? Now that you have settled your affairs, wouldn't it be better for us to head towards the Cromwell Kingdom?" Ruth asked, looking into Minos' eyes.

"Of course, but I will only go to the Cromwell Kingdom when the Spiritual Tournament is 1 or 2 months away since there is no reason to go there anytime soon, and I have a lot of things to do in the meantime," Minos said while explaining.

Minos did not consider this competition a priority in his plans. Of course, although it might contribute to his projects for the Black Plain's business, that was just an initial contact with some possible allies.

However, Minos' priority right now was on solving the population problem in his territory. So, he could not be worried about that competition that was going to occur a few months from now.

"OK."

Though she was irritated, Ruth could only nod.

Minos' group departed to collect the last batch of spiritual pills soon after as this was the only thing that kept them from leaving this town earlier, so they were really eager to get going.

"Mrs. Vera, are my pills ready?" Minos asked a middle-aged woman behind the counter of the store where he had just entered.

"Hmm, it is ready. Young man, wait a minute while I bring them," the lady said before disappearing into the room.

It didn't take long, and the lady returned with a medium-sized bag in one of her hands and said, "Here, if you need anything more, just ask."

"No, thanks, this is all I needed."

After that, Minos left the building and headed back to his carriage. He could finally return to his territory!

...

While traveling through the city, Minos' group was suddenly halted.

"Sergeant Pyke, what happened?" Minos inquired.

"Young master, there is a Nash family carriage in front of us. I believe they want to talk to us," Pyke responded quickly.

Shortly afterwards, the young Elen got out of the carriage before heading towards Minos' group and smiled while saying, "Are you heading back to Plain Black now?"

"That's right," Minos nodded.

"Well, I have some business to attend to in the Kingdom of the Waves, and so I was just thinking of traveling with your group."

"SURE!" Minos agreed with a smile on his face.

It didn't take long and Elen and her bodyguard, Eduard, were following Minos' group in their carriage.

"We have to pass the western exit of the Old Stone. I have left my spiritual beast there," Ruth explained after the group continued on their way to leave the city.

"Hmm, okay."

Soon, the group headed towards the city of Portland while a great white eagle soared in the skies, trailing behind the carriage of the Minos' group.

Meanwhile, three people were revisiting the places where the young Darell had frequented before his death in the Maritime City.

They had just arrived from the Silva family's headquarters after receiving an order to investigate about their young master.

Among the three, two were at level 48, and one was at level 49!

They would hunt down and capture those responsible for Darell's death so that they could alleviate his family's loss.

Currently, they were passing by the hotel where young Darell had stayed during that trip. The three were in a room, while the strongest person was sitting on a sofa as he received the report from the other two.

The only person lounging on the sofa was a woman, she then said, "So, Dennis, what did you find out?"

"Ms. Sarah, I heard that the young master had participated in an auction just before they left this city to go to Stone Island. But during this auction, it appears that he had a disagreement with one person."

"Young master even revealed his identity to prevent that person from bidding on a certain 'item' anymore. But he was unsuccessful," a man with half-gray hair and half-black added.

Meanwhile, the blond man spoke up, "I also have discovered that the young master's group tried to follow that person before they left the city, but I was unable to determine the identity of the other group."

That was normal for them to not be able to determine, protector Philip had only recognized Minos' identity because he was the guard who accompanied young Darell in his time at the Spiritual Academy.

Since Minos and Darell were only a year apart, the two ended up attending many occasions together simultaneously and because of these occasions, protector Philip knew Minos' appearance very well.

However, it would not be easy for other people to identify the young Stuart since he wasn't someone who tried to get a lot of attention when he was young. And the stronger people, like these three, certainly didn't care about the identity of a young man outside their family or the other great noble families of the Brown Kingdom!

And because of this, the number of influential people who could recognize Minos in the three great families of the kingdom, Silva, Brown, and Miller, could only be counted on one's fingers!

Other than that, the people who knew Minos' name, well, they were all on Stone Island, and the chances of them being questioned were very low. That was because the city of Portland was much larger than the Maritime City!

And this made the investigation group to only be able to track Minos through Darell's tracks, but not from his own!

At least it wouldn't be easy for them to come up with the young Stuart's full name. After all, how many Minos could there be in the Spiritual World?

The woman who was seated stood up and said, "Since we have not achieved anything here, we should be going to Stone Island. But this is going to be problematic…"

She let out a big breath and headed towards the port of the Maritime City, where the Silva family had their boats at their disposal.

'Ahh, this investigation may take months…' Sarah Silva lamented to herself.

Meanwhile, in the border region that was shared by the Kingdom of the Waves and the Black Plain, a beautiful fox with five tails was lying on the floor of the cave she had previously found.

And if someone looked closely, they could see some blood coming out of her bottom, just below her several tails.

There, a pink bubble was emerging from the body of this female fox as if it were an egg. But this was not an egg; it was a little fox that the mother had been preparing to give birth to for so many days.

"That's right, my baby, it's time to meet mommy," the fox said in a voice full of love but her breathing was irregular.

Shortly after, a little fox with one tail and being covered by a thin membrane could be seen outside the mother's body.

The mother then quickly began to lick her newborn daughter, eating away the membrane that protected her and the placenta that was attached to her cub.

It didn't take long, and the little fox was nestled with her mother after being cleaned by the mother fox.
