"What... What happened?" Asked the blind witch.
"Well we succeeded. That's the only thing I'm sure of." Oswald replied, breathing sharply.
A more-than-gentle push moved Oswald's giant stature a little, the witch gave him a pout. "How come he was friendly with you? He treated me like dog shit! What did he mean free of charge! Who are you?"
She was more than jealous, she was angry at him. She had to sacrifice decades of her life for her only trade, the other side of the coin branded her as a witch, not a powerful one, still one that feared the cross and every of its followers.
Oswald shrugged. "I know his boss." He then proceeded to inspect the pentacle, to see if the solid structure was still altered. Light had returned, the rain wasn't as intense as a minute ago and the clouds above the house were thinning.
