The most exacerbated man was nearby, however Ward couldn't be at two places at the same time. Rowan shouted. "He ate someone! Major butcher bloody ate someone!"
To discredit the soldier, Tom had to retort with a mean reproach. "It's war, plus you didn't even know him. There's nothing wrong with it as long as you're not on the wrong side of the barrier." He said, adding a snarl. There was no need for him to add the fact any of them could've suffered from their hunger yet.
The redhead let the emotions sink in, he accepted the critics in Oswald's stead, just before he heard branches cracking under his friend's heavy steps. The stench of the stained apron had long prevailed its wearer.
