A few kilometers away from the fight, Laurel was still running. He had no idea of where he was going, however the why was much more potent for now. His stomach acids were attacking his organ and the hunger wouldn't fade until it had something to prey on.
He was sniffing the area, inhaling and dissecting every scent that entered his deformed snoot. He darted toward the most recent track he found and found a deer, the animal was already half-eaten before it died.
The gigantic red mane moved deeper in the forest, destroying young trees and carving the wood just by pushing the ground to run faster. He found a boar that calmed him down for a few minutes, then he jumped to another one, little by little, he was nearing an unknown scent.
One that attracted him as much as the other animals.
