There was not a word uttered. Oswald stood still and gasped for air to refill his constrained torso. A pained groan resounded and soon became overwhelmed by a vicious one.
There was a semblance of alchemy. A magical link in between the two beasts that let all of their thoughts flow through their growls. Still it was a first and their mind barely had the time to cross the first line.
"Do it! Hate me all you want!" The hybrid said, bracing for the incoming wave of pain from the monster's bite.
There was a hint of hesitation, a growing doubt that echoed in the red monster's growl. But it all suddenly resumed to the hatred and aversion. A chunk of Oswald's arm was bitten off, only a layer of skin kept his arm attached to his upper body, his face twisted from the pain as he put distance between them.
Even from such a wound, no blood came out. It stopped right at the border of the gaping lacerations and was already regenerating.
