Chapter 174 - Private talk

Laurel and Oswald went to the colonel's headquarters to report. The man had a glass of brine in his hand and was half asleep next to Ward, ever since he saw the fight in the arena, he needed to absorb the fact he was no match for the boy. All those years he spent on a battlefield felt like a useless baggage when he saw how easily the Titan was beaten up.

After the public had gone crazy, the higher-ups went away, there was no need for them to interrupt their soldiers if they could settle their disagreements in one go.

"Report, colonel. The prisoners have spoken." The boy said, detailing his earlier conversation.

"Those bastards! I have to prepare at once!" Anderson got up while Ward jolted awake.

"There is no need to, sir. I can go and scout the area. The only thing I require is the presence of major Laurel. You'll have some time to breathe while I'm away and I'll have the same. I can't guarantee both of us will come back alas."
