In the evening, Oswald had his two eyes glimmering with the golden shine added to the unsettling light refraction, he kept looking at Laurel to spot a change, but he saw almost none. From time to time, he would spot the light refraction but no colour change.

'Maybe, because I never left him go and wonder on his primal instincts, he gave his body no opportunity to mutate. Finally something for the better.' He thought.

Laurel appeared more friendly, though he never shown it, Oswald could discern minuscule differences in the air, a shade that spiced up his interest a little, he couldn't tell what the phenomenon was due to, but he managed to pinpoint their changes occurred along his friend's emotions.

So he gave a try on Tom, sometimes cracking poor taste jokes while sniffing strangely.
