Ward was suspicious of Oswald's peace of mind. The ruckus outside had quietened but the troops were coming their way. They needed a little bit of time to move around the makeshift houses and tents before reaching their position.
"Do I look like Oswald or the other thing?" He asked, shaking the captain like a bell to get his answer faster. His throat felt irritated, his voice sounded a little deeper than usual, and words were harder to pronounce without biting his tongue.
"Like a very frustrated Oswald! Come on leave me some time to recover, I can imagine how rough the night was for you, but I lost some blood and I stink more than sewers, I need to sit for a minute... Get something to cover yourself with, we have to prepare before the reinforcements find us, I mean any of the two camps." He said, looking left and right, maybe he could find the prisoners around, he bet he could befriend them.
