Oswald heard it and leaped to push back the lever. In his hurry, he let go a loud. "No!" As he pushed his mother to avoid harming his father further.

Meryl had strength, a lot of it, Victor had both his shoulders dislocated and the skin in the outside of his shoulders and near his shoulder blade was cut open due to the pressure.

None of the other men in the tent had moved an inch, most of the prisoners were far enough to not witness the strange scene, but the same couldn't be said for Glen, Ward, Baggio and the victim who still wailed in pain.

Even though he knew what had happened, Oswald used the situation to his advantage.

"Father? Have you been cursed too? Captain, you should untie him, there's no way to know if it'll happen again. If fates wants his head so bad, there must be a reason." He said, looking at the golden puff exiting the tent. 'Mother, your grudge is stronger than mine I'm afraid, but now is not the time to quench your thirst even if our surroundings suggest it.'
