Bang!
The alpha Wind Wolf was knocked back again for the second time by Yeshua.
Yeshua's speed astounded the alpha wolf that it was not able to react. Yeshua did not give the alpha wolf any time to recover. He needed to finish it fast since he could not maintain this unique ability.
Yeshua dashed towards the alpha Wind Wolf again. Yeshua was like a ghost that left blue phantoms as he flashed around. Wind blades formed on Yeshua's claws as he showered the alpha Wind Wolf with furious sharp winds.
The alpha wolf could not do anything as the wind blades cut it and left wounds all over its body. It was growling in pain as it tried to fight back at the apparitions of a werewolf surrounding it.
It could not catch even one fur of Yeshua as his blue shadows were very elusive. All its attacks only struck afterimages. But Yeshua was swiping his claws at the wolf leaving cuts on its body.
Blood splattered around as the blue Wind Wolf become colored by its blood. The wind whirled around the alpha wolf as swishing sounds filled its surroundings with deathly melody.
Then, out of desperation, the alpha Wind Wolf howled madly. Wind gathered in its maw as it prepared to unleash a blast of a tornado.
Yeshua did not stop. He was going to take the wolf down before his unique ability put too much burden on him.
Flashes of blue ghostly shadows surrounded the Wind Wolf. Its blood dyed the wind it was gathering in its maw as Yeshua continued to shower its body with wind claws.
Tornado Blast had a wide area of effect once it hit its target but during its release, the blasting tornado was a unidirectional attack. The Wind Wolf could not catch Yeshua, so it was not sure if Yeshua would be hit by its Tornado Blast.
The Wind Wolf, with its craftiness and cruelty, suddenly released the swirling wind in its mouth below it. The tornado then blasted the ground. The violent wind surrounded the Wind Wolf as its center. The ground was crushed and shattered by the impact of the whips of wind.
The blue apparitions surrounding the Wind Wolf were shredded by the sharp wind. Though the Tornado Blast would also injure the Wind Wolf, it was able to escape the onslaught of Yeshua.
Yeshua, who was cloaked by a phantom wolf, appeared a distance away from the swirling tornado. He then looked at the devastated surroundings of the tornado.
"This crafty doggy actually did that! It's good that I'm faster or that tornado will seriously injure me. But with what it did, this idiot wolf will also be left injured. I'll finish it then." Yeshua prepared to dash again as he saw the weakening of the tornado.
But suddenly, Yeshua heard a roar of a mad beast filled with rage and savageness. The raging bellow reminded him of Grey when he lost control!
With a pounding heart, Yeshua then looked in the direction of Sheila and the injured Jason.
…
During the time that the ghostly Yeshua was attacking the alpha Wind Wolf, Jason was almost out of his stupor. Sheila continued to talk to him. She was reminding him that he had to take control of himself.
The battle of Yeshua and the alpha Wind Wolf produced explosions and destruction that caused the wind around the place to swirl violently everywhere. Dust and debris were floating and scattering in the surroundings.
Jason kept on asking Sheila about his brother but Sheila did not reply to him. In his confused state, Jason was trying to understand what was happening. Though he was not in the sound mind to think right now, his desire to ascertain his brother's safety reigned on his mind.
"Sheila, tell me… Where's my… brother?" Though his voice was weak and low, Jason continued to ask Sheila.
"E-everything is alright now, Jason. Someone is helping us. You just have to focus your mind and take control of yourself, so you'll not succumb to savageness."
Sheila did not have the heart to lie to Jason but she also could not tell him the truth. She was afraid that Jason would not be able to take it in his current state.
Then, Jason did not speak anymore. Sheila became worried, so she tried to talk to him but she suddenly realized that Jason's listless eyes were looking at a specific spot on the ground.
She followed the direction of Jason's gaze and shook in horror as she saw the thing that Jason was looking at. It was the head of James.
Yeshua and the others did not have time to properly take care of James's head. The Wind Wolves were ready to attack them, so they did not have a choice but to clash with them. So, the head of James was left a distance away from Sheila and James.
That distance was enough to keep it away from their sight, but they forgot that the battle produced violent wind and impacts. Everyone was also busy with their concerns. The floating dust obscured the place, so Sheila did not notice that the severed head of James was already near them until Jason saw it.
"No, Jason! Don't look!" Sheila tried to cover the eyes of the bull man by hugging it to her chest. She did not want Jason to look at the severed head of James.
"B-brother… W-why…" Though the voice of Jason was weak, the despair and pain in it were like an explosion in Sheila's sheep ears. She could feel Jason trembling in her arms.
Sheila could feel the tears of Jason wetting her chest. Tears also streamed from her eyes as she tried to calm Jason down. "Jason, don't think about it! You have to control yourself. Calm down, please! You have to fight that pain. Please, Jason! Stay with me!"
Jason's state of mind was very unstable. His injuries that were far from healing weakened him. He could not even turn back into his human form since the severity of his injuries could possibly kill him. His recovery would be greatly weakened in his human form. The passive boost of his body in his human form was not enough to heal his injuries.
However, being in his Alter form was another challenge for Jason. He was trying to take control of himself amidst his unsteady mind like Sheila was trying to tell him. But what Jason saw broke that thread of sanity in his muddled mind.
The pain of losing the person very important to him had despaired Jason that he was not able to think anymore. His addled mind droned everything around him even the shouting voice of Sheila.
Jason was beginning to lose control!
Rooooooar!
A raging bellow was released from the blazing bull as flames exploded from his bulky body. Sheila, who was hugging him and trying to calm him down, was knocked back as burns and wounds were left on her body.
"Ah!" Sheila's painful cry accompanied the raging bull's roar.
Cesar, who was arduously fighting the Stage 3 Wind Wolf, heard the ferocious roar as well as the cry of Sheila.
"T-that's… Sheila!" Seeing Jason losing control horrified Cesar, but then he saw Sheila's condition. He was worried and wanted to help her but wind blades suddenly showered him.
"You damn wolf…" Cesar gritted his teeth in anger. He would not be able to go to Sheila if this wolf continued to obstruct him.
Cesar's heart was racing with concern and fear for his companions.
…
Yeshua was also looking at the burning bull being consumed by his savageness.
Yeshua did not know what to do. The tornado was already gone. Yeshua could already see the injured wolf from the obscuring dust. He had to finish it right now.
But the blazing bull was losing control and the only way to stop him was to knock him unconscious. But that was tricky since the bull was already severely injured. To knock him unconscious needed a powerful attack. With his injuries, Jason might not be able to take it.
However, if they waited until most of his injuries were healed, Jason would already be a Feral by that time. Yeshua could not think of a way to stop the raging bull from losing control.
The sinister Wind Wolf saw Yeshua was hesitant, so it tried to escape. It was already injured and continuing to fight would only result in its death. The alpha wolf only realized now that the dark blue werewolf in front of it was very strong despite being one stage lower than it.
Seeing the Wind Wolf was trying to escape, Yeshua dashed towards it. He was very fast and quickly reached it. His Double Release ability had not ended yet.
"You damn mutt! I told you I'll kill you, so I will not let you escape! Stay here and die!" With a furious roar, Yeshua showered the alpha wolf with wind blades and furiously hacked it with his sharp claws.
The alpha wolf was very weak and injured, so it was not able to put up a fight with Yeshua. It just whimpered in pain from the onslaught of attacks.
Slash!
After a violent swipe of Yeshua's wind claws, the alpha Wind Wolf's head separated from its body and drew a parabola towards the ground.
Bang!
The wolf head crashed and splattered the ground with blood. On its background, a fountain of blood spurted from the neck of its mutilated body as it crashed down. The alpha Wind Wolf with the strength of Level 1 Stage 4 was killed by Yeshua.
Yeshua was breathing hard as the ghost-like cloak covering him gradually dispersed from his wolf body. The unique ability had already ended.
Yeshua was really exhausted. His body was aching and his soul felt heavy. But there was no time to rest.
With a heavy heart, Yeshua looked at the raging bull burning with savageness.
