She quickly glanced over the battlefield as she activated her flames and walked in front of Chrome and the kids to protect them.
Hibari seemed to have gotten the situation as he was excited to try out the new power handed to him. He had seen Y/n activate her sky ring. He saw how the flames increased and became more pure in nature.
'Well, I guess I can exercise a bit with this... guy. He sure is kinda crazy though. But Hibari probably won't leave me alone for at least an year if I do that.'
She saw Hibari move towards the guy in order to attack him so she decided to join him and think of the consequences later.
She saw him glaring at her, but she did what she knew best, and ignored him.
His sword swung her way but she easily dodged it and went in to attack him with her fist. As expected it was blocked and he was about to attack again.
She smirked at that and twisted her body to curve. Placing her foot on his attacking arm she did a backflip and jumped away from him. Hibari went in to attack him at that moment and added his flames from his ring to the box. The little porcupine jumped out and Y/n could see Hibari pause for a moment.
She then saw his eyes show a bit of fondness as she got reminded of when the two of them had met hibird.
Deciding that it was enough time for a reminisce, she let hibari continue on his experiments about his ring and box while she launched various attacks on the swordsmaster.
She could see him faltering a bit when she ran at him and not avoid any of his attacks and only her flames to soften the blow. Chrome looked shocked at that sight and she thought about how wrong she was to think that she understood Y/n. Hibari's smirk became a wide grin as he looked at her and joined her in attacking the man.
This wasn't a battle or a fight.
This was a one way slaughter.
Y/n and Hibari both charged at the man with grins that matched and Chrome and Hibari's subordinate which had tagged along with them now thought about why the two always got along with each other.
It was because they had fought against and with each other so many times they knew each other better than anyone.

Although the girl was saying that her hands were slightly shaking from the wounds. She took a deep breath as she calmed herself down and her face went back to the calm and collected one which she always had on. It was as though she didn't even feel the pain from her wounds.
No, it was as though the two of them didn't even care about their wounds.
As long as they were standing, they could still fight.
'Well that didn't go as planned. I should've fought like I do usually.
Dammit. I got too excited. Well, at least I wasn't the only one.'
She looked towards her partner in crime and flashed him a smile which he responded by giving her a dry look.
