Chapter 1 - It's all 1's and 0's.

'Ugh, where am I?' Lance thought with a splitting headache.

He looked around and saw nothing but darkness, no,  upon closer look he seemed to be in a cabin of sorts, filled with terminals and buttons.

outwards with the only separating appearing to be a glass? is space.

Deep, dark, void of space.

Out far in the distance are sparkling lights, radiant with different colors—the Stars.

------

'Ugh, I remember playing a game? what was it called?' he enumerated while sitting on the Captain's Chair.

'Righ, I was just playing when a random pop-up flashed on the screen, the pop-up said.

[Are you having fun?] he checked Yes, out of annoyance due to the interruption of his gameplay, 'Is this one of those surveys!?'

[Do you want to try living in this world?]...

'hmm? try living in the world of Galaxy?'

'well... it might not be too bad living in such a sci-fi world. I guess?' then he checked yes, not thinking much about it.

Galaxy, is one of the most popular Sci-fi games created by Extreme Corp. It advertised an Open World, Free Roaming System, with tons of customization, build orders, item crafting, world-building, and adventure with lots and lots of exploration.

Of course, there are combat systems too, with either Player versus Player or Player versus NPC. Factions exist and generate conflicts which let the players choose where to side with lots of benefits, and many unique situations.

Now one of the most annoying features of the game was the abundance of pirates and space monsters. 'Welp, not for me, those guys are loot' Lance grinned thinking of his past experience with loot.

'I didn't think much of it, but I was really transmigrated here...how unlucky...' yes, he said unlucky.

Unluck because the Galaxy's pirates and space monsters' spawn rate and abundance are not a joke. 'It feels like they are endless.'

Going to one system or another through a Faster Than Light(FTL) travel, then BAM! Pirates! Somehow they acquired an FTL Disruptor to catch people.

When you explore other unexplored systems in a different region, BAM! Space Monsters! 'It was Annoying and Exhausting at the same time'.

----

"Welp, it is what it is" Lance muttered accepting the situation as it is, he stood up from the chair and began doing some light stretching exercises.

He looked around the bridge? or was it a control room? 'Am I alone in this ship? by the way, what is this ship?'

"System?" With a commanding voice, the room suddenly lit up, and a bunch of beepings and tit-titering noises arose.

"Information Check: StarDate, Region"

[Good Morning Captain, Today is the 1st Month of StarDate 1091. We are currently in a Jino Star System, a 0-tiered star system in the Xentaur Region(0-3rd)]

'Hmm?? Where is this place? Fortunately, I'm in a 0 Tiered Star System' Lance thought 'This place was not in the game.'

Although the Tiers were familiar, they just numbered from 0 to 9, 0 being the lowest and 9 being the most dangerous and resource-filled star systems or regions.

"System, Nearest Base" he inquired

[The nearest star based is 15 Astronomical Units(AU), in the 8th Quadrant of the Jino Star System]

'That's a bit far' Considering the distance between his ship and the starbas- 'Wait this ship?'

"System, Ship Analysis"

[This Ship is named Endurance, a mid-size Carrier--BEEP!![[WELCOME HOST! TO THE BATTLESHIP SYSTEM!]]
