Chapter 2 - Volume 1: Chapter 2

Sorry For being inactive guys! Assignments are killing me right now :(

Hope you enjoy!

A sudden yet gentle light slowly woke Liam from one of the best slumbers of his life and he proceeded to rub his eyes. Having just woken up, his vision was still blurry as he felt around for the exit to the paradise that Liam was currently in.

He found the edge of the bed fairly quickly and even though he did have misgivings about getting up, Josh still stood up and proceeded to remind himself of where he was.

"Hmmmm, Teacher's office? What am I-" As he took in his surroundings, he began to remember the fight against Josh and then proceeding to fall unconscious.

Taking one more look around his surroundings he found himself looking at the bed once again except this time he saw his Teacher Loane sleeping under the covers. He figure was outlined superbly with the sheets tightly emphasising her bust and hips providing a mature feel towards Liam.

"She's done it again, ahhhhh, she cares too much for me." Thought Liam out loud.

"Well, I guess I'll let her sleep in since today should be a weekend and from the looks of it, she looks like she needs the rest." Liam proceeded out the door and closing it behind him softly.

The school hall had windows on the eastern side of the building, giving it a great view of the sunrise. Liam opened one of the windows and climbed up onto the roof almost breaking the window he used as support for the climb in the process.

The sun dyed the Jungle a welcoming yellow colour with a tint of orange in it. There were birds as far as the eye could see flying slightly above the sun and the river that flowed through the Jungle was dyed golden.

Once Liam was finished admiring the view he began to physically shake with fear as he begun to remember the consequence from his father for not doing his chores. After thirty minutes of shaking, Liam decided to face the consequences of his actions and turned ninety degrees to his right and broke out into a full out sprint.

Keeping his body low to the ground, using the front of his feet instead of the heel he picked up a speed that cut through the wind. In fact if you were close enough, you may have been able to hear a light whistling sound.

Having reached the end of the building he used his momentum to hop the 6 foot fence like it was second nature and found himself falling downwards at a frightening speed. Heart pounding, blood racing and eyes full of hope that had forgotten all about the fear of the incoming beating, he landed softly with a roll on the roof of a new shorter and skinnier building.

He continued running for another hour before arriving at his house. Well, that is if it was even possible to call it a house as it was more like a run down shack with boarded up windows and a dead lawn surrounding it for 360 degrees.

Having steeled his determination he swiftly hopped off the chimney of his neighbours house he entered through the front door as quietly as possible. Having made it to the table and not believing any one was up he began to do his chores.

After an hour of doing his chores, Liam moved to his room but stopped halfway when he heard noises coming from his bedroom. He moved closer to listen in but the door opened almost as if the person knew he was there the hole time.

A pale, tall and rich looking man opened the door and gazed at Liam for about 10 seconds before inviting him into his own room. Suddenly feeling out of place he entered the room as fast as he could were he saw ten decently armed soldiers and his entire family sitting on his bed staring intently at him.

"Oh...Your finally back you dumb piece of shit." Growled his father while beginning to stand up. Liam unconsciously began to shake when his father moved closer with a murderous look of hate in his eyes.

Moving faster than he could see was his father clenched fist colliding straight with his chest.

"Gaahgha... hiiik" Liam vomited out those jumbled groans after having been flung back through the wall of his room. His mind was racing at this point as all the soldiers including the nobleman were looking down at him with a sense of superiority and almost disgust towards him.

Soldiers...The same soldiers who fought wars, protected people against crime like the one that was happening to him right now where just staring at him condescendingly.

Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why Why?!?!?!

Why was this happening to him?

What did he do wrong?

Where did he go wrong?

Even if he was late home, he still did his chores so why the HELL WAS THIS HAPPENING TO HIM?!

Am I to blame for this?

Me? A god damn child?

No...Surely not. Right?

Right? Right? Right? Right? Right? Right? Right? Right? Right? Right? Right? Right? Right? Right?

This same scene continued for another five minutes before his father finally stopped kicking and punching his now unrecognisable face and spoke to the nobleman.

"So? What do you think? Do you want him?" His father asked him earnestly.

Liam turned his head slowly to gaze at the man when he instantly regretted as he saw him licking his lips and a chill ran down his spine.

"Yes, yes I would very much like to purchase this half blood child from you. How about $60?" The noble man replied.

Liams father didn't even ponder and immediately nodded his head in response.

That one signal was all the soldiers needed to pick the body up by his hair and hold his hands together like he was praying. An older looking soldier took at a metal spike that was covered in stained blood and positioned it in a way that would pierce both his hands simultanieously.

"Waaaai, waait, pleeashe! PLeeeasdfhe!" Liam pleaded with all his effort but to no avail as the soldier smiled and rammed the device through his hands.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhh....." Liam's world went black.
