As I was speeding up my pace. I heard Spike calling to me. "Wait! Wait, Dusk!" Trying —to catch up, he started to run out of breath, so I Slower my step. And as to he caught, and I said this to him. "We don't have time to waste. Hopefully, we don't run into any crazy girls." I was exhausted from all the misconceptions of the people I ran through. And I was still full from the food we had eaten a couple of hours ago. I was getting bored and angry; yes, I was getting.
Nevertheless, the priority came first. At least I had two last things to do when I could. And in the most important one of them all—the ending of Nightmare Moon. My psyche was still on Nightmare Moon's return. And yet, I have no idea how to prevent the one called the ruler of the darkness from providing an entire opaque world. "Spike." I turned around my shoulder and asked for the next section on the list. Spike uttered, "Well, the next sector is someplace called… Rarities boutique."
"And it's a big deal here in PonyVille, or to be accurate, she's a big deal." Spike looked at the information about her. And explain all of it. For example, she's part of the unicorn tribe, and how her clothing became recognized around the community of fashion. Regardless she was still one fish in a pond. I wondered, is she going to, be a big help or the littlest? After some time we got to the bouquet. It looked remarkable. The interior looked as if a master architect built it. And the exterior design was a ..Castle and on top a flag. As we walked inside both Spike and I were in amazement but for him, it was something else. Or someone else...
" Decorations... Beautiful!" My tiny assistant gasped with joy.
" Yes, the décor is coming nicely. This ought to be quick, I'll be at the library in no time." I believed that was what Spike was mentioning. But I was wrong.
"Not the décor. Her!" Spike grabs my neck and turns it around to his parallel View.
I had to admit she was beautiful. Her appearance was stunning. Mid-long hair with coils. A sliver gray suit. A face that would make any man fall for her in an instant. On her right cheek, a star tattoo. " She's the most glamorous creature I have seen." This little dragon drooled over? I was astonished by how her Cutie Mark was hit by the string of sunshine.
"Three diamonds for a cutie mark?" I muttered.
Staring at Spike and chuckling at him while saying to him, " Spike, are you having a crushing on someone?" he reddens with embarrassment. And he does not deny it.
"Dusk! Please! Be my wingman." He sounded despite.
"Why?" peeved I was. And confused about why I had to wingman him?
"You have to be my wingman! I'll do the dishes for a year, and I'll do my bed for the rest of my life." He sounded more desperate.
"You do all those things anyway," Notifying him. Then he tried to blackmail me with some questionable items. "I will never tell your mom about where you hide your special magazines" I was getting irritable, at the fact that he knew about what I read in my privacy. "Then, it was you. It's your fault that Mom didn't look at me in the eye for an entire weekend Dad gave me the whole speech about the birds and the bees." Then yet he extorted one thing that I would never allow to be used. He gave me a stare, a stare that I know was something that if you were in my possession, you wouldn't have any choice but to do it. Frustration built-in.
"Do it, or... I'll tell everyone that we know you still sleep with that stupid doll!"
"You leave Miss Smarty-pants out of this!"
We kept arguing and forgetting that there were some customers in the building, so, I took a deep breath to cool down. I beg Spike to end his whining. So I promised to, help out.
"Calm down, Spike." I plead with him, for understanding.
I needed a moment. Then, kept on saying please help me. Eight times he went on. Thus, I advised him. "fine, I'll lend a hand. Just relax your hormones. You're more of a dog than a dragon." I remembered something similar to this. The last time Spike had a crush on someone it was this girl; Ocean Blast, She was also pretty cute I wouldn't lie. But that was three years ago.
Can't believe I'm doing this. "Sighing!"
" Good afternoon, I'm Dusk Shine. Allow me to introduce to you my good friend Spike. Pardon, can I take some of your time Ms.?..." she swiveled around, and she stared at me then gasped at me. As if I was sick or something. Her face altered. In a form of horror.
"Oh, the great mother of Celestia! "She exclaimed.
"Wh-What in the world is that thing?"
"His name is Spike, " I said.
"Hey!" Spike felt insulted by that remark. He knew that that was not what the lady was referring to in the slightest.
"Oh, no, I mean your coiffure!" her ascent was a cultivated Trans-Atlantic dialect.
"My hair? I was going to fix it when I get home. I didn't have any concerns about my hair, but it seems it did to her. As if it was a monster hanging on. She was so fixated on my hair, she was willing to volunteer to stylish my appearance It appears that she would not take a no for an answer. I couldn't win. If I said something, there was no second chance. She put both hands on her waist and scowled. And stomping on the ground floors too. Pushing me to sit down; her attitude began to alter. I strived to make her understand that there was no need to bother, but her expression began to terrify me. As if a darker side had awakened. After a few minutes, the discussion, "Well, we were about to leave..." comely attempting to explain to her.
And again she wouldn't take a no for an answer. " can't allow clients to walk away looking like this. You're a mess. My principles would never authorize such agony."
"I never take a no for an answer!" Her voice changes as if I was reading horror novels.
Did she read my mind? stunned.
I replied."Y-yes... m-ma'am!" I answered scared. Terrified I was. The feeling in the air became thinner around her. Then, the atmosphere cooled down.
"Oh, I forgot, your name ma'am. What it?"
"Rarity is my name, Darling." She looked captivating.
So, this was the famous new designer that people were talking about. Hmmm, she might be interesting. But let's see how good she is. I was Amazed. Some time passed and I stayed for a while for her to give me a new look. She began to wash my hair, cutting it, and blowing. I began to raise a question, "Excuse me Ms. Rarity... I don't want to be a bother." I was sitting on a stylist's chair and wrapped up in a cloak. Hearing some humming coming from Ms. Rarity. As she was relishing this. While I had some concerns. Spike was assisting her with my haircut, and he was, as you would say, basking in the elegance of a goddess.
Then, she replied to my question, " Don't worry darling, it's the least I can do."
"But I really must know, who's responsible, the name of the ruffian who caused this monstrosity to someone." Angry she conversed with me. I gave her a description of who it was. I said, "It was a multicolored Pegasus." Calmly with a direct voice.
"Rainbow Dash!" she mumbled.
"Do you know her?" putting forward a qualm. If she might have had a discussion with her in the past. Then, I asked her, "Is she your friend?" I questioned her about it a bit more.
"No, not in particular; I wouldn't call her my friend," Not giving a constructive attitude towards her. Not even some compliments. " I truly have no reason to be friends with an unrefined Pegasus like her." Ouch, that was harsh. I thought to myself. "Whoosh. All done. "She finished by blowing out my hair.
"Rarity, you're amazingly talented, it suits you Magnificently, as you were born with it!" she complimented herself on how well she accomplished this... Little project.
" Even though my face may look a little bit feminine, but, I'm male." Peeved I was. She looked at me with a confused look. "No, of course, darling. Of course, I've known you were, I just thought this style will look so presentable for your appearance. I didn't want to offend you. I could see she was lying so, I let it go.
"You wanted to try that didn't you?" she ask.
No? My dearest apologies. Oh, pardon me, I think I haven't heard your name yet."
I began to re-introduce myself and spike for the second time. And as I did she looked dumbfounded. As if an unexpected curve rushed and would hit you in your face all at once.
"DUSK SHINE!!" She was unprepared for my name.
"The Dusk Shine The personal protégé Princess Celestia?!" she was dumbfounded.
"Uhm, I guess so..." I was out of words. Her eyes start to Sparkle at the mention of my name. I felt like I was trapped, " it's an honor to meet you. It's like you are a prince from a fairytale coming to save me?"
Then Spike proceeded to play it cool. "Well, that would make me Dusk's brother. So, I'm also a prince too!" He was confident in himself. However, that changed when she did this to him. "Who are you again?" she was so unconcerned while I was concerned.
"I'm Spike, I've been helping you all day for about... two hours." He was moaning. Suddenly, this lady ignored Spike and shuffled her feet around. Zoetic her performance was that as she yawp with delight.
Then she proceeds to probe me with one single thing. " Tell me, Mr. Shine... do you have a girlfriend?" She threw a hardball question at me. I couldn't even respond on what or how I would answer that. I could have just said yeah I do back home, but knowing how my situation was with women, it's not an easy thing for another. " A man like yourself has thousands of women just dying to be with you am I right? "she was holding my hands with a hard grip. Her face was getting closer and closer. There was no way for me to evade this crazy woman. And the more she got closer, the more red my face got. I started to think about the
women's hardball. " Besides the princess and my babysitter, the only one that came to mind was Heartstrings." I was mystified, I didn't know any more girls that would think of like my girlfriend.
This is bad, need to think! My mind was out of ideas. That's the first ever to happen to me, I never thought one day, someone would make me lose my composure. I'd begin to blush. I start to mumble and I couldn't say a single word. I snickered for a while, at that instant, Ms. Rarity acted a bit uncomfortable. As she was the one to lose her sanity. Well, not exactly, but the subject she was talking about was a bit out there.
"You know, Mr.Shine, I always believed in destiny, and what it has me to prepare. Ever since I was a child, I always believed I would meet my prince someday. Then he and I would be. United by the red string fate. Our love could be a shining light that could brighten even brighter than Princess Celestia herself. And one day, we could live our happy ending together, forever. Mr. Shine... do you believe in destiny? D-darling...?" She was straightforward about her future dream guy. And believing that I would be I'm. I think not. I wasn't even ready for a commitment.
Luckily, she kept on talking and it allowed me a pike to escape. Don't get me wrong I was grateful for what she did, still, she was a bit unique for her subtleness. I was getting more exhausted by just hearing her speak about me being her destiny which I felt was uncreated. I turned my head too just to be sure she wasn't following us and luckily she wasn't. Spike was somewhat furious with me, not pleased with what went on blamed me for grabbing the attention of that girl. "That's the last thing we need, a crazy overwhelming fan chasing me with a wedding dress." I was out of breath.
"Hey, big bro...!" Spike cried out, his arms cross around.
"You ruined my first impression, you jerk! "He screeched at me, "That insane girl could have kidnapped us and you are worried about your first impression?!" I yelled back at him. "Besides, I didn't have time to be helping you with that psycho. I don't understand what's is the big deal of having a girlfriend is. Love has the potential to make anyone stupid and oblivious. To me, this was just a pointless endeavor. "That's what I thought. Suddenly, as I said that I was hit by a metaphoric row that stabbed my heart.
"Well...," Spike wavered.
"I guess a young intelligent man like yourself wouldn't fall that kind of thing, right?" Spike calmed down.
"Big bro?" Spike was worried about me. I didn't say or move. I was standing in place. My expression was in a state of mesmerizing. I heard an angel, "Now follow me, please." To me, it was as if they brought a marble statue to life. Such a beautiful Melody, coming from her beautiful delicate mouth. She had long silk-like pink hair. Velvet Yellow feathers filled my eyes with grace. Her eyes, as they were made of crystals, were a shade of greenish-blue. Her outfit was plain and it was matching with her wings. She looked like the definition of innocence. As nature paraded around her. I couldn't believe she was genuine. I was stunned.
"Uh, big bro? Five minutes ago you were paralyzed with that silly smile... now you drooling." He started to lecture me.
"That's not true!" I yelled.
"It is, just... she looks frightened! Look at that poor girl, she's to the point that she's started sobbing" He pointed it out. She was shaken up to the point where the birds were approximately gone from our site. She started to back off and I began to feel more of a creep. I tried to clarify that we weren't going to do anything nefarious, the looks of it weren't going to end well. I had to think of something quick or we would get arrested or worse. Then I asked for her name and she answered. "Fluttershy." But I couldn't hear her so I listened again. Lower her voice got. Then Spike responded, "She said Fluttershy is her name. And she's the last one on the list." Give a thumbs up. Then out of the blue, she reacted. "gasp! A baby dragon!" she finally spoke. Even though her voice sounded cute, she shoved me down and ran to Spike and hugged him."Eh...!?" I was baffled. I was on the floor because it seemed that I was in the way.
"Oh, I never saw a baby dragon before! He's so cute!" she was enamored. I couldn't believe that he will get more attention than me.
wait, am I... jealous? This was the first time In my life I acted this way. Bitterness in my mouth, the tastes of this eternal. Shiver. A new feeling. is this love? I was so happy that I was so confused, why? Maybe, perhaps this is the first ever I felt fondness towards someone. My face was pink. Then, she kept caressing him for about an hour and a half. In my mind, I was wishing that was being caressed by her arms. But knowing that it was a bit creepy sounding. She wasn't letting him go as if she did, he'd escape from her arms. Her face showed a chipper manner that could soften anyone's bitterness away. As I looked at her she came across as angelic and a bit oblivious. A complexion white, smooth, and pleasing. The chuckle was cute as a child. Frail as a doll made of glass was her figure.
"Wait, Wait, Wait!" Energetic sounding she was.
"His name, what's is his name?!" her voice struggling with enthusiasm.
"Spike;" He gave his name with encouragement and charisma. "Spike, I'm Fluttershy." I smiled at her as if the imaginary rays would hit her to show her charm. It was so hard to watch. I was ignored as if I was a forgotten novelty from childhood. I felt down-struck from watching them laughing and smiling. Spike swiveled and I saw him giving me a smug expression as if he won a game against me, and being so proud-looking. In the meantime, I would pout for the entire discussion they both had
They kept, and conversing with each other, and, they just went on and on about how Spike was born. It was so long that it felt like years going by. time passed and then we were in there the final stage of their discussion, that it was a fresh of comely air. "So, where are you staying?" Ms. Shy asked. So Spike responded with a whimsical tone. "Simple, Dusk and I, were staying in Ponyville's library for the meantime, hen the festival ends." He added a chuckle. While I put on a small simper on my face. Suddenly, the mood of Miss. Shy bent a bit. Her attitude appeared as if it changed to atrociousness. Spike and I were worried, and concerned about her state mentality, asking if she was fine. I began to composure to the concern she had. But, her voice, began to stutter, "T-the old library! Y-you mean the old library in a tree?" She squeaked like a mouse, a cute mouse in a panic. Spike was confused; so was I and I asked what was wrong with the tree. She proceeded on clarifying why this tree was to be afraid of. She said that is one of the most terrifying areas, after the Everfree Forest. "The Everfree what? Wait, haunted?" I was confused. How was it haunted? Then, keeping on Miss Shy elaborate on a handful of information. "It's believed that you can hear the voice of the wails of the previous owner of the house. If you enter, there you die from the terror. The only way he would get you are by jumping towards your face." Shivering was shown on the face; White as if barely holding on to dear life. Changing the subject, and telling her that spirits and apparitions can't exist. This was a way to come her down, but it appeared to be more than half of the tale. There was something about the story that made it overwhelming. An icing line of her words had a horrible ending." And all that enter weren't seen again." She looked squirming her arms- covered with goosebumps, yet she holds her ground. I found it strange. But could believe that in the window I could see an eerie figure moving inside. It has to be my imagination. There's no way I'm seeing someone in there. Then it was banished. No trace would re-show itself.
Our conversation keeps ongoing. And we forgot about the scary rumors about this tree library. The subject changed. And we talked. "It's just a bedtime story to scare the young, nothing will happen trust me." I wanted to sound cool and amazing to her, eyes. "those are just rumors, dissolution beliefs. Unlike magic, there is no tangible proof or even believable data that would show, anything of ghost's validity." I was amazed at how reasonable I sounded. "Oh! Mr. Dusk, you're extraordinary! You're so smart." Flabbergasted she gazed.
it's working. it was time to shine. I thought I could go a bit more.
"Back home I'm Princess Celestia's number student and the best she ever had in a century." I had to admit maybe I sounded a bit pretentious, but I wanted to look stunning at her.
"But the rest just called him insane." Spike bluntly, with no hesitation, blurts it out. The anger I felt at that remark, veering around, I told Ms. Shy, "Hey, not to be confused about what my sight is showing but isn't that one of your birds on one of those branches?" She swerves her head to see.
"Smack." I knocked Spike out to sleep. "Hmm! I don't see anything. I can't see any birds of —." She swiveled back and saw him on the floor. Asked what had happened to him. Then I retorted to her question. "He's…. taking a little nap." I scratched the back of my head and laughed. "Ha-ha-ha!"
"Oh, poor thing, he needs to get to bed."
"Well, he is young. And as they say, for you to grow up, you need sleep till the night ends." I lifted Spike from the ground and carried him on my back, " I'll take him to bed." Keeping a smile on my face. We both chuckled, and we said, "Well, see you later, Mr. Shine! I must continue with the singing practice." The feeling of fluster on my face was showing, but she didn't notice. It was the feeling of comfort. I asked for a small favor, " Ms. Shy? If you may, it's a bit embarrassing being called mister; if it's not a hassle, Let's call ourselves by our names; it's not a problem.
" Of course not. It's not a trouble at all."
"Alright so, allow me to call you Fluttershy, and for you, call me Dusk. I'm still 17, so I'm not yet ready to be called a mister, yet!"
"Oh wow! What a coincidence, we are the same age as you and me. Well, then, I'll be seeing you later. Dusk, Goodbye." She sounded astonished and dazzling. "O-k!" Well, I said like a wonk at that moment. Embarrassed? Yes, I- I- I was no longer arduous. As we undertook our wave of goodbyes to the first average person we have met since we got to this small town. It was a breath of fresh air. We walked to the door, and as we got an inch to it, it was followed by self-opening and a cricketing disturbance. It was getting late, noontime, "grab your bags, Spike, time to move inside." As we strive to the library tree, the inside is dark. "As we are here... I think it is time for some research; I'd better start with this investigation."
" Do you think it would be best for us to stay in here?" troubled Spike wanted to, in a weird way, warm me as I knew later that this wasn't going to be an issue. Because of what happened next. "Look at it; it's near to a halted construction. Even members of the Pegasi clan moving crew left our belongings and were scared and just left them on the ground." Boxes that we've marked clothing, personal materials, and anything important we had was opened up and a mess. " I'll have to report this to their superiors about this. Spike, hurry up!" irritation had me unsatisfied with the work they made. So, no light was turned on until I channeled a small amount of a luminous spell for us to see. We stepped inward the entrance and found a switch we at first had a minor exchange of words. And as we got inside, I flickered with the lever and turned around and saw a stranger inside and screamed," Surprise!" my heart almost jumped out from my chest. I shrieked and lost consciousness for a few seconds a voice called me. "Dusk... Dusk wake up! Hey, big bro, you have to wake up. Wake up." That voice was Spike. Little by little I regained consciousness. "Wh- what happened?" Still with a rushing headache. And unable to remember the few seconds that happened to me. "well... we got inside, and you turned the lights and paused out. Oh, you also screamed like a tiny child!" Spike cracked up while saying that to me. As I struggled to stand up, I witnessed some things floating around on a rope and began to talk. "Hehe! That was fun. The best thing ever." I didn't find it amusing. My expression was confused. I asked who she was, and she answered that her name was Pinkamena Diane Pie. "Around here, they call me Pinkie Pie. But you can call me Pinkie." She smiled with a recognized face. Spike and I remember this individual, who was the first to acknowledge her. Who could forget that puffy, wavy bristle? And those...two accessories she had with her. " why are you invading our house?" I asked her. Then she replied with the most absurd answer that anyone would respond with. "well, I set up a... Party! A big part for you!" as I looked around, a group of people was at my home. Wait! The silhouette; that was in the window was it her? As the night began, the festivities were going on without a hitch. Even though I was mad that someone went inside my residence without my permission. I had to ignore it. In the meantime, Games, food, and entertainment, we're the most important of everybody's day, we're their best time. Everything was having the leisure of their lifetime, but for me, I was preparing for the ruler of the night. Then after gaining my composure together, went around a checked a bit more on the festivities. And as I was walking around I bumped into someone somewhat important. " I am very sorry that we couldn't have this conversation sooner. I am the mayor of this town Mayor Mare." She was the mayor of this small community. And yeah, wouldn't she be the first one to welcome somebody who came to this town? But then, she starts to explain the situation that she couldn't welcome us properly because she was having a meet together with High officials. It seemed that this was the very first time in history PonyVille was chosen for the Summer Sun celebration. And that's correct, most of the time it was in Canterlot my hometown. Centuries to be precise. This must be the very first time this has ever developed. She asked, "Shall we have a walk? If you may, follow me." I obliged her request. And talked about how delighted everyone was to hear that they were chosen for taking the honor to prepare the 10020th Summer Sun celebration to honor Princess Celestia's raise of the sun. And then I started to ask for the justification for her to have someone to properly greet us. "No one?" she seemed puzzled. Her face showed an expression that she couldn't understand why. She did say that she did send somebody. That it was her assistant of the day.
"Well, I'm sorry, I haven't seen, couldn't all day, I think." but then, the mayor looks behind me and said, "There you are Miss. Pie." I couldn't believe it the assistant of the day was the same one that ran away. She was the one who was supposed to greet us for arriving in town? I was shocked. The mayor stepped away explaining that she has more to do and that she had to prepare for the introduction of the princess's arrival. And as she walked away I was alone with the weird one. She was getting nigher too. I started to veer away from her, so she couldn't - "Hey! Why you're stepping away? And what's with the dialogue?"
"Uhm, how, are you...
...when did you—?"
can she read minds? I asked myself personally.
"No, that's funny, no one can read minds. If anyone could read minds we wouldn't have any private conversation with ourselves." That was what she said, but, did she— browse my psyche? Then later, the further I spent with her I would learn about her and her personality and actions. But for now, being directly in this crisis, I've believed that it's just not vital to my mission to have leisure on this. I knew that I carry out a job, and perform it. It wasn't time to full-around on this any longer. I had to find a way to get away from here, soon as possible. I didn't have anything to waste one other second. I walked in a row of balloons on the floor. The interior of the place that Princess Celestia assigned me to live was filled with streamers and balloons. And all because of one soul individual, Pinkamena Diane Pie. Oh, right she wants me to call her Pinkie. She wasn't going to leave me alone she was following me everywhere, and I mean everywhere. The only thing I wanted to do when I got here was some peace is that so hard to ask? Pinkie began to ask me some questions while I was mildly irritated.
"Are you surprised?! So were you?! Huh-huh-huh!!"
"Very surprised. Aren't libraries supposed to be, I don't know, silent?"
"What kind of Welcome party would this be if everything was quiet, I mean duh, boring!" she kept on and on, and on, and on and, on and on nonstop. While I wasn't listening to this conversation, I just went with it. I just let her ramble on. "see, I was the first one you met, do you remember?" She kept on talking.
"And I saw you before. Oh, and if I saw you before, that would mean your new to me, you're new to this town, you're new .for everyone."
"Urh!" she was, getting me mad, and it was hard to maintain calm composure underneath".... Yet, you must not have any friends, and if you don't have any friends, you must be lonely, and that made me so sad!"
"Don't worry I'll be your friend!"
"Th-thank you...?"
Doesn't she stop talking? She keeps on going like this; any minute now, I'll go crazy! As I poured myself a glass of water to drink, I plotted the scheme—a plan to get rid of her. First, I will ensure that my area is clear, and as I see an opening, I slide away from her sight. Then, as doing so, I'd tell her that I was going to the garderobe. Privacy of mine was needed. I didn't notice what I was doing the fact that I was pouring myself not water, but the hot sauce, instead of water. I ran off- as my mouth came to be burning. "Hot! Hot!!" Thus, I attempted to find something to soothe the burning. The time was 6:45 pm. As I halted at a hill and sit down at a waterhole while watching the night sky and gazing at the moon and reminding myself of the reason why I came here. "I was supposed to come here by the name of Princess Celestia. But... ever since I arrived, I've been hurt, shamed, kidnapped, and almost poisoned." Was just sitting there with my hand reaching to the dark luminary sky and lamenting thoughts of my shattered ambitions.
" I've been her Apprentice ever since I was small, I've always trusted her. But... she's trying to get rid of me, she sent me here; trying to keep off her presence." I didn't notice while I was sitting down just thinking to myself I didn't imagine that I wasn't alone.
" I wonder what was she thinking?" holding a fist against my chest.
"Maybe, she's planning something big." The unusual one infirmed.
"Where did you come from?" I was shocked by Pinkamena was behind me.
"Secrets!" She said with an energetic demeanor You know that doesn't explain why she was behind me, or what was the reason for her to be there. Suddenly, Spike throttled around to find me. And he looked worried. " There you are; I've been looking for you." By the pitch of her voice. it seemed h was running in a hurry. "I'm sorry, Spike. I need some fresh air." My mind was confused; I couldn't, couldn't stand one more minute in that room. The noise, everyone surrounding each other just laughing, not knowing the harsh truth. We were in our last rope. The only thing I saw with my eyes was what was the end of all. I understood that Spike just wanted me to be happy and have fun but, how can I have fun in a moment like this? My heart, it's heartaches. It aches put those who- I began to feel sadness, but I showed anger. Spike, helping me out, stood a vast emotional and personal view.
"I'm not going back there- and you know what, you want to know what I think? What I think of all of this is just a waste of our time. Parties or a waste of time. And whatever you say, it's not going to change the truth." I just let it all out. And showed my true feelings but maybe just a little bit of it. I was just... pique.
"How can you say that!" she exploded.
"Eh!?" I think I made it worse; Pinkamena looks hysterical. I finally did it; what chance could I have of making friends? If there is one, we'll walk away just by me saying those words... is it goodbye?
"How can one say that about parties?! Don't you know parties are an essential part of one's life!" I just stood there with a dazed face sweating the sound of drip, drip, sweat.
" it covers the tenderness of the heart of any creature in this world with joy!" The passion in her voice; made me see she cherished parties. Suddenly, she began to drag me around. We went back to the carnival, she wants me to, see how great parties can be. "Hey!" "Wait!" I wanted to tell her that stop dragging me and let me go, but she was very insistent. "Ms. Pie!" as we walked to the festivities, we noticed a huge group of families and friends. They were laughing and also having a great time. Kids enjoy themselves even though they sometimes lose a game or they drop some food on the ground. They were laughing all night long. Maybe it was me? I didn't notice I was the only one not enjoying it. Since I got here, I complained. Still, the harsh truth is happy the atmosphere can go south. And this night plagued it. Any moment, any second, the ruler of the night would show up and force us to her will. Princess, please tell me what I should do.
