Chapter 1 - Getting the theater

Knock.. Knock..

Putting down the sandwich, he rushed from the kitchen to open the door.

"Mr. Vidal," the person in black suit and white glasses asked.

"Yes."

The person in the black suit opened his bag and showed a document with QR code, "I am the lawyer of your great Aunt Maria; this is the property she has passed to you."

His great aunt took care of him and his sister from their childhood. Vidal even knew the internal affairs of the aunt's family, so it confused Vidal.

Why would she pass a property to him at a time like this?

"You don't have to worry about anything. Just take it, as goodwill of your aunt," the lawyer said.

After pondering for some moment, he took his phone out and scanned the QR code.

Instantly he received a complete document of a property.

"If, in the future, you need any help related to the property, you can directly contact me," the lawyer handed him a card and left.

Vidal looked at the location of the property; it was in quite a good place too. He finished his dinner and got ready to visit the property.

Taking a taxi, it took him an hour to reach the place.

The sight in front shocked him. A run-down movie theater; the two-storey building with washed up paint and broken doors and windows.

He pushed the Iron Gate. The surrounding of the theater has good spacing, but the pathway to theater has holes and the wall around the theater was broken and the fallen leaves and trees made it looked like a haunted theater.

Then a buzzing sound reverted in his head.

[Suitable location has been found.]

[Suitable soul has been found.]

[Merging with the soul.]

[Merging complete.]

Vidal looked blankly at the words appearing in front of him.

[Theater Management System]

Host: Vidal

Theater Type: Single-screen

Theater points: 0

[Library]

Vidal calmed himself down and questioned the system.

[The system will help host in managing the theater.]

[Library comprises different movies host can buy to play in the theater.]

[Host can convert the money earned into points.]

[The conversion ratio is 1000:1]

[The current condition of the theater makes it unusable.]

[Tasks: Renovate the theater.]

Paint the theater.

Change the seats.

Repair the Projector.

Repair the sound system.

When he got the jest of his situation, Vidal finally entered the theater.

The interior was very simple, although it looked like a two-storey building, it wasn't. The main auditorium of the theater was spread in 500 m2 area and comprising 200 seats.

Outside the auditoria, on the right was ticket counter, and on the left was a stair.

He climbed up the stairs, the projector room filled with dirt and old movie discs and props of the movies. He moved towards the projector and took a breath of relief at finding a digital projector.

After getting a good look around, he exited the theater and looked at his phone.

Currently he got around $50000 in his account, it was the money he saved for his sister study. But now he has to decide whether to gamble on the old-fashioned theater or not.

But the presence of system made him to decide it was worth giving a shot.

He looked at the time, and it was already time for him to leave for his job. He was currently working as an assistant editor for a writer's website.

He instantly sent a letter of resignation and started planning his budget.

The first two were the easiest ones, he only had to spent $20000 for paint and seats, the service was faster than he had expected.

In two hours, a group of people arrived with all the required tools for painting and a truck arrived with 200 perfect and comfortable seats.

Vidal looked in the web for quite a long time and finally found the parts for the old projector. Although the projector parts weren't expensive, they have to be brought from outside the country which cost him $10000.

He completely changed the sound system costing him $5000.

A day passed, he was regretting his decision, although he had theater and projector, where was he going to get a movie to run?

Vidal contracted different film distributer's, but the amount to buy the movie for even one week was too high for him.

Another day passed and his theater face has changed. The paint was done at last. Mixture of red and blue gave the theater a fresh look.

[Renovation of the theater completed.]

[Rewards: Two free movies (Permanent)]

[Library has been opened.]

Vidal felt a heavy burden from his heart was lifted, now that the system was providing the movies.

He opened the panel and looked at the name of movies.

It shocked him, and the shock changed into excitement.

[Poster has been generated.]

In front of him, two rolls of poster appeared.

With shaky hands, he unrolled the poster.

A man in a black suit and a bowtie, his hand was raised to the height of his cheek and a boutonniere of red rose in the left side lapel of the coat.
