After receiving the skill, there was simply no problem at all. Going back to the house he even used it directly on his father, mother in law and siblins so he could implant the idea of high importance to a call he'd have to take the next couple of days, as well as a lack of interest in what he'd be doing during those two hours independant of what he actually did.
He knew none of them would inform the rest of his family, extended or not, mostly because it simply wasn't of their personality to mention things that they considered unimportant, and there was only so much he could do with the skill on the first level, though S rank spirit did help with using it on the real world.
Guilt over manipulating his family? Nope, this was for everyone's sake after all. If possible he'd later use the skill on his father to make the man less iritable, which should help with the mischievous side of his little sister. Later on he'd use it to make his mother not question her back pains going away all of a sudden, same with his grandmother and her joint aches, though he'd have to check his grandfather since the man barely complained even if he almost ate a rock or had a bleeding gash. Even if he had nothing wrong he could at least reduce his near sighteness.
It was a whole day before he received the message through his interface, imediatly explaining he had to take that call and leaving for his previously dug spot. He'd reinforced the dirt so it'd not cave in, but also closed the airways so no worm simply climbed up his body and entered his respiratory system way while he was inside the dungeon, so there weren't any insect or crawlies inside despite the days he'd spent away. Ventilating the place was much better than burning anything that might have gone inside to a crisp before ventilating the place.
In under ten minutes, he was in his lobby, equipment and provisions ready.
[I'm here. Special or normal dungeon?]
[Special. Guns won't be useful, so no need to bother.] Aki imediatly started opening space in his inventory. Though he had bought another bag, this one with three times the volume from the previous one and forty percent weight reduction, for some thirty thousand points, inventory space was never enough. While he was doing so, his contact with the house started debriefing him on scenario.
It was a magical world with political bullshit the contractor was involved with, having ended her dungeon run prematuraly due to assasinating a noble that was behind some things that were happening and ending up captured due to a lack of time for running away, because that was aparently a thing if the system deemed you not powerful enough to survive or something. He was likely to be wounded when coming inside, his items stripped away.
He'd make due. After hearing a bit about previously agreed signals and a description of the client and the other two guys that were her body guards, Aki was finally invited into a party preparing for a team dungeon. He briefly introduced himself and confirmed he was ready to start anytime. There was a countdown from the client's part and the world went blank.
Regaining conciousness, Aki noted his arms and legs were spread akimbo on a wall and his mana pool was close to empty, just enough for him to keep sanity really, because the hunger was fucking gigantic. There were plenty of gashes on his body, and although they would recover, his hunger would take over if such was allowed.
He still wasn't worried. Allowing him conciousness had been a mistake on their part, even if they didn't notice him to be a vampire.
It took only fifteen minutes to make the stone wall behind him collapse, sand and granules crumbling out until he could literally rip out his tetters from said wall, the energy suction stopping. It'd only been a small amount of energy that could be properly used, but getting the locks on his cuffs to bend themselves open was pretty much all he could do.
He needed to eat, and he quite fucking doubted the guards would mind if he used a prisioner for that. While he was corroding the door lock so it could not sustain itself much the same way he'd done to the wall though, he heard calm footsteps coming from the other side and instead decided to just wait. When the smiling young man opened the door only to see another smiling young man, panic quickly entered his mind, yet he simply could not defy the order to not move and was brought inside, quickly getting a fang to the neck.
Aki had not know the side effects of feeding like this, so he was quite surprised how good it felt, but the joy was purely momentary as the amount of energy a single human possesed in their blood was simply not enough for the hunger he had at the moment. Of course, it still helped though.
The man had some uncommon items on him, mainly ancilicary and a couple of good knifes, but he picked only the key ring as he wasn't in a state to carry anything, having only some linen shorts. Ten minutes later, he'd already recovered to full however. Though he was unsure of who in the actual fuck he'd killed, they'd all been prisioners on a level that had literally no light inside the cell, bad humidity all around and a body full of bruises and cuts, some with maimed limbs even. He was doing them a favor really.
Leaving through the door in the end of the corridor full of cells, Aki didn't exitate to kill the two guards at the door with thin holes to their heads, neither of their bodies touching the ground, their energy filling him again despite the small amount he'd spent. There were a lot more guards waiting for him.
Just going up the stairs, Aki had three encounters with guards holding torches, which he killed with a combination of umbra and life steal until he found the next battery. Already being full, he didn't start killing the prisioners on the level above too, instead simply disposing of the whole body of guards the quickest he could, not allowing one to sound any sort of alarm before he started searching the cells for his coworkers.
Going for the room that still sometimes released screams, he quickly found the correct answer on a torturer nailing a man's hands and arms to the chair he found himself at. Before he could tap the hammer again, Aki broke his arm and knocked him out.
"Bensom?" He asked, guessing by the port and muscles rather than the face since everyone's features were slightly altered when in a dungeon. The nordic man still had a lot of sweat on his face, short red beard and hair though, which covered his countenance rather well. He seemed fine if you ignored one of his arms had five giant nails straping it into a chair.
"I take you are Aki." He said while gulping down breaths. "I can still fight with one arm if you take these out." He rushed to say. The contract said they could not kill each other or do harm, but they didn't exactly need to save the whole team either.
"No need, just relax while the master thief does his thing. I will be helping you though, so relax." He casually said, ending him words with the removal of a nail, making the man groan in pain depite how fast his hand did so. The next four came out just as easy, barely giving the strapped man time to react to them all before the holes in his form started to close as a warm feeling flooded him. By the end of it, he noted that the man on the floor was merely a husk of a corpse.
"Thanks." He said before breaking the leather warps that'd originally bound him to the chair. "I was afraid that guy would start wanking off any minute now." His comment got a snicker, though the man seemed less approachable now that he had a hammer in hand. "Your report didn't mention you being that good at healing others though."
"It will now, though explaining it in a way that sounds believable is kind of hard without testimony. The floor is clear, any clue where to find the other guy and the miss?"
"The whole floor? Danm. Don't know about the Mani, but the Miss should actually be in a tower instead of the dungeons like us. Her state is unsure however." Explained the even more well built man while walking out.
They both silently left the place, several prisioners asking to be taken with, though both ignored them.
Mani turned out to be a man with a swimmer's built and asian decendency and going down in the dungeon to get them when they found him slowly going down the circular stairs. Aki almost killed him, but the contract stopped him for getting the aim right, which made it obvious who it was. The big diference between them was that he was dressed and equiped with several daggers, carrying three very big backpacks.
Neither man had problems with getting dressed on the stairs as the other two watched, which led to Bensom and Mani slaughtering the guards on the upper level while Aki went back to quickly loot all his kills. They both looked at him funny, but after Ben said how many corpses were there, both agreed they too would be going back for the loot if it was theirs.
There were a dozen or so uncommon items from the guards, though one of the prisioners he'd killed ended up dropping a whip that caused a lot of pain and shadow damage. He'd be selling that later, though it seemed extremely eccentric for someone to actually use. Maybe usable as material? To the bag it went.
"Ok, i'm back. So, that's the tower with the highest concentration of energy of this place, that's the second place and that's the third, either of you know which direction the Miss might be at?" Aki pointed out after they reached a window.
""The first."" They both said at the same time.
"I take it our employer is either very beutiful or very good at making enemies." He tried, getting a look from both men that said she was both. "Well, at least this won't be boring." He spat, opening the door and striding forward.
Each and every soldier found themselves unable to scream or even emit sound as they faced with the trio, more and more sentinels being taken out, the last door so cramed full of security Aki didn't actually have the capacity to shoot at the same time he avoided the alarms going off and allerting the thousands of soldiers on the castle, making his teammates experience their first real fight as two waves of energy came from the other side of the door, the client fighting someone.
One knight slipped by and came towards Aki, but he just turned his head around and the man stopped, then had his head crushed against the massive double door, his armor shielding his target from a lance of flames as his body was thrown forward. The end of the explosion ended slipping through before silence could be brought back, but that had been the last spell the old wizard on the other side would cast, his eyes rolling back as his purple face lost any semblance of consciousness, the woman mounting his shoulders successfully breaking his neck between her legs.
He gave her a smile, then turned around and increased the gravity of all on the room but Mani. Bensom just smiled at that though, his warhammer literally turning a knight into a blood and metal pancake. It took little more for the place to be cleared.
"How much time do we have?" Asked the lady.
"Twenty to thirty minutes. Wanna try assasinating the king?" He shrugged.
"Is he serious?" Asked the mostly naked woman, turning to her other bodyguards as she stopped dressing back.
"Definetly."
"We might be able to do it."
"Or we could raid the treasury instead." He sugested, four grins spreading through all greedy bastards present as the plan was agreed on.
