Chapter 46 - Part four: The pink presentiment

Luz remembers that she always described as a child the twinges in her heart, which appeared when she had strange presentiments, as if they were the stings of a bee: painful and guilty of redness on the skin, in this case, the skin of her chest was always affected.

She is having those heart twinges, but there is no longer redness on her chest; if the twinges were the real cause, now her hands vibrate in a pink electricity guided by the lines of her hands.

These same waves of electricity are now holding her by the mushroom head-hat. Luz no longer just senses, she is sure that those hat-shaped heads are hiding something...the only way out is to recover her memory.

No, it is not that she has lost her memory in a serious accident or something like that. She has always been very forgetful for as long as she has had consciousness or can remember having consciousness. The teachers always told her mother that she had trouble paying attention to something specific. What she did most in class, when she was tired from playing, was to imagine the world differently.

The teacher always told her that she wanted to see her in the pose of a good girl; that is, with her face resting in her hands and a beautiful smile. Of course, now she was no longer smiling, nor was she 5 years old, she was about to turn 17 and it was still hard for her to pay attention to real things.

A vision makes her tremble: her face resting on the tips of that forked tongue that consumes her pink electricity.

Maybe the only way out is to pay real attention?

But even when there is a risk of dying from poisoning?

Like Luz, I also have a pink feeling, and maybe that's why I feel a twinge in my hundred. The heart and her mind always unite in pain when she is prey to a great worry, only she did not listen to me before and was not aware that I existed and still exist.

The bad thing about his head hurting at this time is that, in the face of some excitement from the fear and danger of the circumstances, is that this causes his bloodlust to be hard to ignore. Although spinning around thanks to the mushrooms helps her in this purpose, but will it be enough?

Then, as if an invisible being wanted her to relieve her hunger, a possible victim finds herself holding on to a mushroom. Unlike her or many who are also clinging to life, this boy with soaked black hair and long but very clean fingernails has no powers visible to her eyes.

Although if she is a vampire and is attracted to this boy's blood, it must be because he is a human with no powers.

Despite the rain, the swirling motion of the mushroom or the sense of danger she can smell his coffee aroma, to which her mother is so addicted, combined with the terrible smell of car smoke. And maybe if I don't say I saw him in my pink vision she would have missed that she can't look into his eyes no matter how hard her vampiric ability tries.

This inability has nothing to do with dizziness or the disgust she feels from having touched her own black vomit, only helplessness mixed with a marl of sanity takes over her being and she sinks her fangs into the mushroom's hat-head.

Then he sees that one of the black lines of the bee's skin adheres to his eyes. There is no iris or cornea, everything in his eyes is black with no hint of light to enter... only through the darkness can he see her gaze.

Listen to the sound of his muscles moving like the sound of a sea made of rocks. Suddenly, other black lines from the tiny bee bodies attach themselves to the marks that separate one muscle from another muscle on his body sculpted by the sculptor in all of us.

Between twist and twist, crash after crash against other mushrooms; the vision of that boy's muscles becomes a delirium. Luz realizes that the melody of his muscles is in sync with the recent vibration of the mushrooms' head-hat.

With the fangs inside the mushrooms she can feel as if her own fangs were extending inside the head. Moreover, she feels that each fang branches into other smaller fangs in a convoluted and caked manner until it fills the entire mushroom's hat-head.

The ramifications of her fangs are the new neurons of this spinning mushroom; so she can see everything the mushroom is thinking and feel it as if it were happening to her.

"A virtual reality within a virtual reality."

There are some horsemen riding in the sky (this one is celestial and with clouds, all very normal) at the same height that Luz (or maybe a spectrum of her) is jumping with her feet falling right over the footprint-like shadows on the ground which is nothing more than a sea of rocks that seeks to make her fall.

I could compare this sea of rocks to a treadmill because, in my opinion, they have the same purpose: to make you fall if you let them.

On the sides you can see everything like the main road of the town where the traffic always made her fall asleep in the buses that she rarely used to go with her mother to leave food for her father.

The only difference is that it seems that the cars are now the students of Luz's school and she included... and she wanted to belong to the group so much, without a doubt there is no such thing as impossible.

The fish Luz is looking for is hidden inside the sea of rocks; so she needs a stone pick to dig it up. She will only get this tool if her feet always fall on the black shadow in the shape of a sole.

Every time Luz jumps and falls on the target (excuse the irony of my expression) some seeds sprout behind the fence around the highway. The more seeds there are, the more the stalk of a giant plant grows like in the story of Jack and the magic beans.

Of course, there are some slight differences between Jack's plant and Luz's plant. If I talk about hers: the stem is made of ice that does not reflect anything or reflects it blurred because it is fogged by cracks from where a red liquid flows with the zigzagging pace of a snake.

As the seconds pass, the feet of some students miss their target and the sea of rocks buries the foot that misses its target. Then, the sound of a locomotive running is heard in the distance.

Only a minute passes before a long train made of ice can be seen, fogged by cracks that sprout the same red liquid from the giant stems of the plants.

At this instant, out of nowhere, the train widens and shows two werewolves each attached to one side of both sides of the train, as if they were the ones holding the train and so it is, this locomotive is part of them.

Luz thinks the worst when she sees that as the train widens the train covers some students. She sees them inside the stomach of the wolf with brown fur and thinks that the wolves are going to swallow all those who fail to step where they should.

However, as the train moves forward and leaves behind the students who did not miss; but who were too close for the width of the locomotive not to reach them. Although the train did not eat them, the students who have not missed a step so far did not go undefeated either.

They, after being covered by the darkness of the stomach of one of the werewolves, before they looked like supernatural beings known in the universal literature; but for example now the centaurs instead of showing off their beautiful tails, they enhance a huge butt that they say has just been confirmed that serves to divide in two opposite poles any specter to which their silky tail falls.

That the centaur's backside reveals the good by bringing out the bad in you doesn't surprise me.... there's a reason why that part of the anatomy is used to discard what we have rotten, isn't it?

This is what just happened to a little angel. Who would have thought that there was too much fire in an angel? A little angel who was as much a demon as Luz is anxious.

With angels like that, do you really want to be baptized?

I'm already beginning to believe that El Diablo can be a fairer benefactor. You'll say I'm a bootlicker because I'm scared to death; but no, it just seems fairer to me someone who betrays you, but shows his face afterwards; than someone who always hides behind storm clouds and makes you believe in things you can't and won't prove in life... believe me that in the afterlife no one cares about human stories.

Lucifer at least gives me a chance to answer you.

You know this is just a fun review or so I intend, don't judge me so harshly.

Anyway, another example worth noting is that of the angel herself, before being touched by the horse's tail, when the darkness of the other werewolf's stomach touches her, instead of continuing to radiate light she gives off the same dark glow she had seen before.

This opaque glow has permeated the Light environment with sadness and everyone notices it because of the heaviness she feels as she steps over the tread-shaped shadow.

The worst thing is not the heaviness in the back from carrying other people's babies like a girl who seems to play the role of Rumpelstiltskin.

The worst thing is the heaviness of the eyes, the ones that form the mirror of the soul.
