Chapter 4 - The Resonance of Magic

Resonance is an event that participates in the vibration of an object due to the influence of vibrations from other objects around it which have the same frequency as the object. Resonance cannot be separated from vibration and sound, because from these vibrations resonance will produce sound.

The process of resonance occurs when the system can store and easily transfer energy between two or more different storage modes.

"In this case, the principal was hit by resonance magic and the magic was activated by Akita upon entering the headmaster's office, Kaito Hirazawa."

Fuyuki added the magic resonance explanation, while Kei just listened to the explanation. Because Fuyuki knew that Kei didn't understand the explanation, Fuyuki made an illustration.

First illustration: Kei calls Kaito. Kei transferred the signal from a cell phone storage and Kaito received it (Kaito was still in the room). The sound that Kei made was just vibration from a telephone line that Kaito received directly and didn't resonate in the room.

Second Illustration: Akita who is equipped with a sensor chip from Kei knocks on the principal's door then Akita opens it and he is not in the room. Subconsciously, the vibration from the knocking that Akita produces is a resonance in the form of a knocking sound that can be heard by the principal and other people nearby (before the chip on the Akita was installed, someone had installed magic on the door of the principal's room so that the sensor on the Akita chip did not work).

Third Illustration: Akita opens the door and the principal is not in his room. Most likely between Akita or the principal, one of them had been transferred to a different dimension so they couldn't see each other. Then, Akita who called Kei from the room was Akita who was already in another dimension, it could be that the one who came back was only Akita's voice which was the only thing Kei heard.

Fourth Illustration: When Akita returns, Kaito and Kei's sensor chip code changes to Kaito and Akita. Therefore Kei can only search for Kaito's sensor chip through Akita, while a part of Akita who is in another dimension leads Akita in this world and brings him together with Kaito. Eventually, their chips activate when they are close together. However, Akita's voice from this world couldn't reach Kaito whose body was already resonating in another dimension. When Akita's voice drifted away, Kaito disappeared because the only thing Kaito heard was Akita's knock before entering the principal's room.

"So where are the real Akita and the real Kaito right now?" Fuyuki asked Kei a difficult question.

"Where did I know!?" said Kei while shaking his head, "But, I believe the current Akita is the real Akita."

"No."

"Eh-!? (Kei Surprised) Then what about Hana-chan?" he added a question to Fuyuki.

Fuyuki sighed, and continued speaking again, "Hana who returned is that mage."

"How could that be?"

"Several Leweiss structures are used together to explain the molecular structure. But the structure is not fixed, but there is isolation between the double bond with the electrons going back and forth, hence the name resonance. Hana-sensei has blood ties to Kaito-sensei and both molecules are isolated into a Leweiss structure and then magic with that Leweis structure is installed on the door of the principal's office to produce a transitional form of a resonant structure called a resonant hybrid."

"So the current Hana is... Hana who has become a witch?"

"Yes. Regardless of Hana's accident or not, Hana will be in a coma too. When activated, the elevation electrons will be transported to the brain ignoring the unpaired electrons. Because when Kaito-sensei and Akita Hongo resonate, they are not isomers or their true self. and the only real thing is the molecule in question." Fuyuki explained while associating magic with resonance theory in Physics lessons.

Kei wondered "Since when did Hana learn magic?" in him Kei wants to reveal Hana. The thought was read by Fuyuki.

"Yamada-san must be wondering since when did Hana learn magic?"

"How do you know what's on my mind?"

"I'm just guessing. Through your body's resonance."

"You can do magic too?"

"No. Magic and Spirituality are generally different. Magic can control any object within its reach, while spiritual abilities can only be controlled through one's potential. The real Hana is not a witch but the current Hana is a witch. The real Hana has been possessed by a witch."

"Very bad."

"Mage by the witch is also known as black magic, which some people give their souls to Devils. Even non-Atheists can learn it even if they don't have direct contact. Most likely, Kaito-sensei's activities have something to do with all of this and make Hana a witch."

"Then why should Hongo suffer?"

"Hongo is the Intermediate."

"I don't understand. So all this time Akita has been the liaison between Hana and the principal, huh?"

"More or less."

****

It's getting late, the school will be closed in 30 minutes.

"Young master, thank you for coming here." Kei bowed to Fuyuki

"Yeah, no problem," Fuyuki replied with only a short answer.

"Yamada-san, at school just call me my real name. This is a public place while my identity is strictly kept secret. I am your current student."

"Okay."

Then Fuyuki left his room.

Looks like Kei forgot something...

Kei tried to remember what he was going to do to his boss. Kei cleared the glass on the table then he remembered it.

He saw Fuyuki who was still not far from his room.

"Hey, Fuyuki Matsuda!" Kei shouted at Fuyuki who had gone far, "What is my request?"

Fuyuki paused for a moment and turned to Kei "I'll consider it."

Then Fuyuki continued on her way, leaving him.

Kei said in his heart, "Thank you."

Kei felt helped, now Kei had a happy sen yum on his face. He believes the mystery in his life will end soon and can end by helping Akita.

But, on the other hand...

Fuyuki went back to thinking about his father's case. While Madara was waiting for him in front of the school entrance.

"Oi!" Madara greeted Fuyuki.

"You're still here?" Fuyuki turned to Madara and greeted him back.

"I'm waiting for you."

Fuyuki sighed. Fuyuki looked tired thinking about the difficult position he had been in recently. Fuyuki and Madara looked at each other and Madara hoped that Fuyuki thought seriously.

"Madarame, I don't remember what we talked about earlier." Fuyuki didn't remember it.

"Yes, it is okay." Madara looked away from Fuyuki and looked down with a sad face.

Seeing Madara who was looking down sadly like that, Fuyuki felt concerned. There must be something hard for Madara to go through just like what Fuyuki is feeling right now. Inwardly Fuyuki said, "Should I ignore it?" Fuyuki wanted to help him, but there was a taboo that couldn't be done in him.

Fuyuki closed his eyes and re-think it through, to what d he be here?

The answer is simply to carry out the will.

But Fuyuki thought there was something he had to do in carrying out the will. Fuyuki is also not someone who ignores other people, as long as he feels capable, he will help him without asking others in return.

Fuyuki muttered, "There's no reason to help others."

"Huh?" Madara had time to listen to Fuyuki's murmur.

"Madarame, come with me!" asked Fuyuki while extending his hand.

" Where?" Madara was surprised then returned Fuyuki's outstretched hand with his hand.

"Come on! Maybe I can help you." Fuyuki smiled faintly.

Madara's lost smile returned even though he didn't know what Fuyuki was planning to do. "Okay." As long as it helps, Madara will follow him everywhere.

Madara believed in Fuyuki since then (since leaving the shrine) that he could help him.

"Fuyuki Matsuda... " Madara suddenly said Fuyuki's name.

"Eh, yes? What's wrong?" Fuyuki was surprised by Madara who suddenly called his name.

"No, nothing." Madara shook his head. "I just wanted to call your name."

"Strange!"

Right, no reason...

There is no reason to help others.
