I took the note, turned back and ran as fast as I can to the Hunarin.
With haste, I took the pen and wrote the same sentence.
"Let's see again." I was excited yet worried.
I may be a coincidence as well, so I wanted to be precise and accurate, not even a single glitch.
I walked along the same path as before but this time I didn't find the note.
"Was that a coincidence, really?"
Upheld by a strong stick and suddenly the stick break in between its length. You are on top of that stick. How would you feel?
I felt the same.
I was stunned. I mean I wrote that I would find 100 rupees note and I found that a moment ago. Anyone would be suspicious, right?
But in reality, of course, it was a pure concurrency.
"Are you looking for something, kid? Ohh...maybe you are hungry. Grab it and nourish yourself."
His smirk was big and kind. I was surprised. My hand moved on its own, grabbed that 100 rupees note, and kept it.
I didn't even blink for a single time, I just kept gazing at that man until he could be discerned.
I didn't do anything, I turned back rushed back, and sat on my bedsheet holding the pen.
I stared at the pen for about a minute.
Since I have a full pot of ink and pen, I could write as many sentences as I wished. So I thought of trying it again.
"Haaaie.....morning, Kahuna!
"Morning, aren't you late today?"
And she slept again.
Me who had discovered something magical, I was eager to try again.
(Let's try something different this time, right?)
"Umm..." I thought for a moment.
"Rain of money"
I wrote these three words and walked off the Hunarin. In reality, the rain of money would never be practical. I just wanted to check its full aptitude so I wrote something bogus.
Filled with hope and eagerness, enthusiasm was flowing through my veins. This time I rolled to a different road than previously. I was about to check its full capability, so of course, I would do things differently this time.
I walked for a minute but nothing happened but instead, I saw a huge crowd roadside.
"You son of a bitch..."
"Don't you dare?"
They were jabbing and booting each other.
"You fraud, just for this money, right? Just for this, you butted me!"
Ohh the fight was for money, delicious. One seemed to be sad while the other seemed to be a little pleased. I could guess what the feud was for but I was interested in another thing, about 10 grey notes, each of 1000, holder by the sad one.
Suddenly, he threw that money toward another, whom I was abiding behind.
For no reason, he strode aside and all those money fluttered around my head like the rain of money.
I caught two of the noted midair and scooted back to the Hunarin.
"This is real, this is the real thing...dammit"
My legs were off the floor, I was scampering and swiveling all around. My excitement was off the limit.
For a child to thought like that and to be delighted like that for money, that was quite terrible for his future. That time I was just thinking about the money, which was the second mistake of my life.
The next morning I told all of the stories to Karin, she was happy too but she was not like I was.
"Hey Karin, try one, take it."
I thought it may be the reason she was not happy like me, she didn't believe me.
"What are you gonna write?" I was excited.
"Umm..? something that I honestly want.....Yeah, I got it."
'I want to live together with my mama.'
"What are you doing Karin? This will really happen!"
I don't want to lose her. I realized, she wanted that but at the same time, I don't want to be alone. I didn't want to repeat the past. I wanted to be with her.
"Come on, Kahuna This will never happen. Let's go out."
"You still didn't believe me, did you? Rub this now, rub this now." I decreed her.
"Well but it's ink, and worry Kahuna, we will be together!"
Her smile was filled with kindness, I could easily felt the warmth.
But, I couldn't be diverted by that. Even if I concluded its accuracy before, I wanted to doubt it now, I wanted to be wrong.
But the truth was already triggering its aural reality.
"Karin, your smile does nothing." my voice was saddened.
So, the only thing I could do was wait and watch.
"No no..."
I suddenly took that paper and dipped it in water but still it was meaningless.
I was standing looking at Karin and then at the paper.
To be honest, I was desperate and detested.
I was just waiting.
"Come on, Kahuna. Don't be childish."
I was silent.
She wanted to be with her mama than achieving her dream, so at a point, I could not be selfish toward her, and the next thing I couldn't force her. And the main thing she could not deny the verity even if she wants in near future.
A person is alone from birth to death. He is never accompanied. You are born alone and you will die alone. My mind was still young to be fondled by that belief and actuality.
I was just waiting, which was the only option I had.
I passively confronted her and grasped my all finger tightly and punched her.
"What... don't be an idiot, Kahuna? Just for writing that?" She was demonic. She smacked me too.
I again tried to punch but...
"Excuse me is there my daughter here, she had been lost for few years."
She was holding the picture of Karin.
A mother never delays, do they? I was happy for a mother and a child to be together and despised too.
But I was surprised, she was well ornamented and was looked, high class. There were one guard and a guy, a rather stingy one. The one-eyed spectacle totally depicted his stinginess.
At the same time, he looked observant. Someone like a detective.
I could see her crystal eyes being stunned looking at Karin, and unexpectedly the tears initiated their surge bulkily.
"A mother... haah" I had no choice but to speak with myself.
"Kahuna, Kahuna..."
I didn't listen because it may disturb her mind. But now she couldn't even resist because the future was already discerned.
As I was walking off, suddenly she halted my way.
I tried to ignore but she again appeared in between.
"You are still believing that this all happened due to that write."
She still hadn't believed me.
"Write?" he stung in between.
"It seems we are being summoned here, Your Highness."
He was fast. I mean just a word and he already reached us.
"Ohana, what are you talking about?" Her mother asked Karin.
I didn't know why but I was smiling, but at the same time, I could feel the anger ignited throughout my mind.
I looked at her eyes and skipped a step aside, rather I pushed her aside. She bowed her head which finalized me the truth.
I started to walk to nowhere, I just walked away.
"Miss Ohana, will you please allow for your hospitality."
His voice was stingy too. I hate that.
"Kahuna, sorry...."
Her voice was filled with regret, but I couldn't look back, could I?
I walked straight, didn't care about the direction. I heard some noise as if something was thrown on the ground forcedly.
Ohana and her mother with their guard and stinger rushed the cart forward.
Then, I looked back and saw that pouch, full of money. It's not like I didn't accept that, despite she lied to me, I knew we were bonded somehow.
And it's entirely me who vacated her but not she.
She was just filling up the gap which was predetermined.
I took that pouch.
"How lame am I?" I grossed myself.
I was sad, of course, I would be but I learned something as well.
You are always alone in your journey.
Life was good, then suddenly things turned back now, didn't they?
I ogled toward the Hunarin and then walked off.
"See you." My mouth was involuntary.
That day I again commenced to travel my journey but that time, I had that pen and a pot of red ink.
The sun was already rushing to the horizon and the moon was biding the sun.
The bond between the moon and the sun is beyond love and kindness. You are always there but never close enough. They gleam at their own time.
I didn't know but I had already reached the forest, it was small though. I thought of dwelling her that darkness. I looked around and saw a cave near to a huge tree. It was quite old, maybe older than that old fellow.
I stepped ahead but suddenly I heard a noise, precisely someone walking. I ran passively toward the cave and hid. I was quite frightened too.
I peeked toward the noise, it was human but his eyes were strange. Something like fish scales all around her body joined together by a thin strip or something like that.
"Are they nomadic?"
Well someone, who is nomadic, seemed to be talking well, right.?
It seemed they were. They were chasing something, maybe some animals. I was relieved. They moved ahead and I was comfortable now.
I had some food and a candle as well. I was afraid that they might return here if I lighted the candle but thanks to that cave, I was really deep and clean.
I lighted the candle, ate my food, and took out that book.
But suddenly, I remembered something. The jungle was small, and there are nomadic here? That was suspicious. It seemed that way before but was that the reality? And his dress, it was made up of scales.
Was I overthinking, yeah maybe I was?
With this assumption, I calmed myself and turned the first page of that book.
