The part was finished, the whole song was finished. The tiredness they spent with that song for hours. All that was final testing was to see what demo will be picked to strike a home run. The day was in the evening, the whole gang was still inside the control still recording "what will it be?"…..

As the song fades away, Dennis stops recording and yells "that's a wrap." Kassie jumps in the air, running back into the control room looking for a water bottle to drink. The "Group of 5" already went home for the day since there turn was finished. Lavern had already had Kassies purse. Waiting for kassie, "I'll come back tomorrow!" Kassie yells to them when she walks out the door. Heading to the car and drive off to the hotel. Lavern takes a warm shower, after she was done she brushed her teeth and got out of the bathroom finding kassie writing in her diary. After them being into trouble weigh the three men, and being assigned with the productions, she never got the time to write in her diary like the old times. No one can never look on cause kassie will keep it in secret spots. Not even her own cousin. Lavern sits in her bed. Kassie still writing. "Kassie…when the song releases we should start searching for a house in Sacramento.." Lavern says. Kassie looks directly at Lavern, "Yea we should." Says Kassie angrily. "Kassie this isn't fun n games…we cant keep waisting money on hotels."
"We'll talk about it tomorrow I can't deal with this right now…" says Kassie. She closes her book and puts it In another secret place, which was her purse. She walks back and turns off the lamp and climbs into bed closing her eyes.
Kassies nose felt ticklish, cold and wind blowing. Kassie wakes up. The whole room was white she sits up, and sees her grandma again. "Grandma?" Kassie says.
She gets up fully and walks over to her. "Oh dear kassie…"
"Grandma why are you saying that?"
She turns her grandma around. As she turns her around her grandma was holding a purple rose, she hands it to Kassie. She smiles "keep this and collect them for me…you will get a surprise." Kassie locks the rose with both hands and pressures it on her chest. She wakes up. Her hands being locked in the same position, like the rose was still in her hand. It was the 3rd or 4th time she had a dream about her grandma. No one knew she was dreaming about her, so she just kept it to herself.

Dennis turns off the recorder, and looks at Stella. "What did you think?" Says Elis. Stella sits up and looks at the both of them. Lavern and kassie sit up and wait for the answer. "Everything fits and even the instruments" kassie smiles. Yesterday, they had people that where advanced playing with instruments come into the studio recording the music. After they where done they left, got payed 600 bucks for playing the whole song.
"Alright" says Stella "I'll publish the song and we can see where it takes us" everyone in the room claps and hugs. They all leave down to the first floor. Now since they have a break it was time to do real things. Kassie sits in the car waiting for Lavern to come out of the building. Lavern comes out with paper in her hands and goes inside the car buckling up. "What's wrong?" She says. "I kinda don't wanna go back to Sacramento.."
"I don't either it's too far to drive there and come back her to do songs."
Kassie sits and thinks. There only plan was to focus on the main reason why they came down here. To start a carrier, and to stay away from New York. Kassie sighs "we should just look for a place here" she says. Lavern looks at her with a gasp "you really wanna move over here?" She says. She nods. Lavern smiles "okay if that's what you want"
She starts the engine and drives off to the hotel.
Kassie was really into fashion magazines. Specially the ones with Jessica Castillo. A little girl that started out just like kassie. She popped out of nowhere in 1983, when she was 8. Working at contest and being on fashion magazines. But this girl had many talents. Vocals, Fashion, Modeling and a sense of humor. Some people rumored that her parents run her money. Or she just works for her parents. But we all don't know that is true. Kassie, herself doesn't pay attention to those rumors. She just admired her beauty and her fashion looks. Lavern walks in with apartments for rent newspapers. Seeing kassie still looking at the magazine. "I remember when you where 12, you where always getting those magazines"
Kassie looks up, giving a smile. "I'm only 14!" She says. Lavern laughs and sits on the bed. She puts the newspapers on the night stand and sighs. "When Stella gives us the money we can look for a apartment" she says. Kassie puts the Magazine on the night stand also and turns around to sleep. "Alright if that's the plan, let's stick to it" Kassie says under her breath. Lavern turns off the lamp and sleeps.
NOVEMBER 13TH, 1985
The only one part that needed to be finish was the song cover. That kassie needed to be on.
As it was Ten O'clock they get a call. Kassie picks up the phone. "Ya'lo?"
"Hey kassie we got a job for you to do" says stella. "What's the job?" She answers. Kassie was sleeping in since the song was finished so her voice was muffy. "You have to be on the front of your song" Stella answers. Kassie slow brain was processing. Of course kassie forgot what songs needed. She gets up and stretches "okay..okay I'm going…" Kassie hangs up and goes get dressed. She grabs her purse and puts her outfits in her bag with makeup and jewelry, and gets the keys to Laverns car. Since she isn't coming this round kassie will be driving all by herself for the second time. She gets in and drives slow. Making everyone beep at her while she drives. Making her get angry. John and Linda minding there own business and just collecting files and paper until kassie storms in. She comes up to the front desk. "I'm here" she responds. John touches her hand "you need to rest" he says. Kassie breaths more harder, she breaths in and out. "Ima go to Stellas office.." Kassie says. She turns to the right and walks off into the elevator and presses the 3rd floor. Linda looks at John. "What was that about?" Linda says. John looks at Linda jumpy and very red like a tomato "I…I don't know…" he responds. He blushes more and sits down and gets back to work.
Kassie knocks on Stella's office door. Stella opens it "kassie!" She yells. She drags kassie inside. Stella smiles and introduces kassie to A photographer Darwin du Voj Williams. A French photographer. Half French and half American. "Hello kassie" Darwin shakes Kassies hand. "I'll be your photographer for all your albums and Photoshoots" says Darwin. Kassie nods and hugs Darwin, of course she hugs everyone she meets. Stella clears her throat "you all will be working on the first floor at Room 29" she says. They go out the room and hit the elevator to the 1st floor. They both stay quiet in the elevator making it awkward. "Sooooo" Kassie says "what's the plan?" She smiles. Darwin looks at her "we will be doing a cover for your upcoming song" he says. Kassie looks at the top of the elevator door looking what floor there hitting. "How long will it be?" Kassie says. "How come you have plans?"
"Kinda, got stuff to pick up on" she answers. "About an hour or two, we'll do it quick" he insists. The elevator door opens. They walk to room 23 And they see 2 men and woman. Darwin goes up "can I help you?" He says. "Can I help you?"
"We are the makeup Artist, we where hired By Stella Northgate" the two people said. Kassie sighs. It was 2 hours later, she was done and drives to the fabric shop to get a seams dress to make her sketch just like how she wanted it, coming back to the hotel with Lavern still sleeping. kassie called it a day.
As Stella promise, "What Will it Be?" was finally released on November 20th,1985. No signs of it it being on the radio. But Stella was always there to listen. "Kassie it's been launched!" Says elis. They both smile. They hug each-other like no other. A few hours later the song was being put on shelves at music stores, grocery stores, and clothing stores. As people people look at the music shelves they pick Kassies but they don't know who she was. As kassie honors, she sits back and creates demos for more music that will be published.
On December 10, 1985
the news was hosting a talk on tv called "the song 'what will it be?' is hitting Stores and More buyers than any other music"
"What will it be?" Was Hitting to 25,000 buyers in Los Angeles. Leaving Kassie the first ever song artist to get so many buyers on her first try making a song.
