In the dark depths of the Underground Palace, the Spider Woman came to the side of the Giant Spider, looking at the skeletons scattered across the ground, which finally gave her a sense of security.
This was a very hidden place; she had been hiding here for a long time and had even gone through a long period of hibernation. She had only woken up recently, and prey had delivered themselves right to her doorstep.
Unfortunately, that most luscious prey was a bit hard to handle.
Luckily, she had already had Little Blackie carry out a hunt and had prepared a reserve of food, ready to be eaten at any moment.
The Spider Woman was about to have Little Blackie drag two people over when the Giant Spider opened its mouth and made a sound inaudible to humans.
"What, someone's come and rescued them? And they didn't even spare the horses?"
