Chu Han led Lin Yun through the village for a while until they arrived at his grandfather's residence.
It was impressive that he could find his grandfather's house so precisely among almost identical houses.
Then, in the hazy light that seemed to come from nowhere, Lin Yun could make out the general shape of the houses.
All the houses lacked doors and windows and their shapes reminded Lin Yun of coffins.
Lin Yun didn't dare to ask, anyway, there was nothing of the living world in this village, so he was not surprised.
"Grandfather, Grandfather, I'm back," Chu Han called out.
As Chu Han called, the door opened.
So there were doors, but it was too dark and they blended in with the houses so well that Lin Yun didn't see them clearly.
"Have you been outside again?"
The old voice was laced with sternness; clearly, the grandfather was aware of Chu Han's actions and likely did not support them.
"Grandfather, I've got what I wanted, and, this time, I brought back three friends."
