After High Lord Volanti left, I raced to seek comfort from the only unbiased source I knew, the Archivist.
It had been a month and a half since our arrival in Volantis. After our confinement, I swiftly began exploring the palace. Soon, I found that the Archivist had taken over curating the High Lord's library. He seemed quite at home there and was just as fiercely protective of these books as he was of the Dragon King's.
He would still take the time to teach me whenever I went to the library, but unfortunately, most of my skills were still locked.
I turned my head to the right and observed my skills with a frown.
