Malgus turned on his heel, facing away from Satale. He silently reached out for a tendril of the Force, willed it to probe her mind. Images of Galen flooded his. Her perceptions of Galen was as clear. as the waters in the room of a thousand fountains. She thinks of him as her best friend. Her lover! Such ignorance!
He turned again and struck out with Force Lightning. More screaming, more agony. Satale knew she couldn't take much more. Even using the Force, the torturers were taking their toll. Still, her defiant nature wouldn't allow her to give up, and she still held out hope for her rescue.
You think you can turn me, Malgus? her eyes narrowed at her captor. You are a fool.
Malgus leaned in, his face mere inches from Satele's. Torture? No, dear Satale. You misunderstand, he lifted his hand and reached out to caress her face. Satale recoiled in horror and disgust. This is but a taste of the dark side to whet your appetite.
