Fauna stood between Jewlica and Nectar's seats, just like the other servants. Nectar looked up at Fauna with a smile, " You just focus on Ica and Nate. I can serve myself ".
Fauna seemed hesitant but Nectar shooed her off. The food was soon opened and Athena said a simple prayer before they ate. Nectar was already serving herself some rice when Eros put a piece of snail in her food, " You also need some protein ".
Nectar frowned slightly [ But I don't like you or the snail ] " She doesn't like snail, have some cloud salmon instead ". She smiled at Nova as she reached out for the salmon, " I didn't even realize there was some ".
Nova was a bit surprised [ I guess her tastes are similar to sis' ] Eros seemed a bit embarrassed and Nectar fought the urge to laugh as she held a piece of salmon to his mouth, " Would you like to try some too "? [ Refuse and if you do, choke on it ]
He opened his mouth and let her feed him. He seemed happy [ At least she's not completely clueless ] Nectar smiled as she put the fork down and picked her spoon instead, eating [ So he didn't choke ]

Bonsi couldn't help but laugh as she bit into an apple. Axis looked at her as he put a piece of ribs in his plate, " What's everyone laughing about now "? Bonsi took another bite, " It's Nectar ". He looked at her who was happily eating, " What about her "?
She smiled as she picked a ladle in a soup of gravy " I'll tell you about it later ". Axis shrugged as he stabbed his fork into the meat, " Whatever you say ".

" Do you have any particular preference Jiro "? He looked at her and she smiled, " You don't mind me calling you Jiro, right "? He shook his head, " Not at all. And something mild will do ".
Athena nodded and served him some soup, " It's lightly salted duck ". He nodded as he took a spoonful, surprised by the flavor " It tastes good. Been a while too ". Athena smiled, " Wonderful, you should try Sister Empress' desserts sometime ".
Jiro was a bit surprised, " The empress can cook "? Athena nodded, " Though I haven't tried her pastries, her beef is delectable ". Jiro nodded [ And she can bake...since when? ] " And you Lady Athena "?
Alice suddenly clicked her tongue mockingly, " I doubt it ". Athena shrugged with a smile, " I had to learn for this event but the head chef says my cooking lacks emotion ". Jiro smiled to himself, " I'm sure you'll get the hang of it soon. I'd be happy to try whatever you make as well ".
Athena seemed happily surprised, " That would be amazing. But we mustn't tell Reli and Melanie ". Jiro tilted his head to the side, " Really? But their such an energetic duo ". She nodded, waving her spoon at him " Exactly my point ".

Nova didn't expect Nectar to take the salmon from her. In fact, she had no idea why she offered it in the first place. She loved seafood and luckily for her, so did Nectar. She was so lost in thought [ How did I die anyways? Is this some sort of pre after life? If I am, am I in heaven or hell? If this is hell, what's heaven like? And if this is hell, what is heaven like? ]
She reached out for the shrimp and started peeling with her hands. When she heard murmuring, she realized what she had done [ Am I not allowed to use my hands? Ow, wait. I'm a princess now ] and threw the shrimp into the plate, laughing nervously [ And I've made a fool of myself, greet job Pollen ]
That was when she heard a little girl's giggle, " Can I have some shrimp too Aunt Pollen "? Both Nectar and Nova looked at Jewlica with surprise, " What did you say "? Jewlica pursed her lips and looked down [ Damn. I just said what she was thinking ]
