Bonsi bit her lip lightly as she tried to get the nerve to talk to Axis. They hadn't said a word to each other since they're argument [ I've never fought over anything with him ] She saw a wisp of white hair in the corner of her eye and smiled [ Of course it'd be cos of a troublemaker like her ]
Their eyes met and she was about to open her mouth to apologize when Anala showed up. She quickly gave a bow, [ At exactly ninety degrees ] " Greetings to Lady Dowager ".
Anala scanned her and her features softened slightly, " Nice to see you remember what I taught you ". Bonsi smiled, trying to keep her sarcasm to herself, " Of course Dowager. If you'll excuse me ".
Axis tried to go after her but Anala blocked his path. She patted his cheek and smiled, " You seem better my child ". Axis smiled as he held her hand, " Thank you for noticing mother ".
She squinted her eyes slightly, " There's something a bit off about you though. Anything interesting happen along the way "? Axis could only think of Nectar and her antics but shook his head, " None that would interest you ".
She nodded, taking her hand back " I'd love to know about it anyway ". Axis nodded [ I have to find Bonsi ] his mind already else where, " Maybe later. If you'll excuse me ". He walked past her and she sighed, " Wasn't Luscious all the trouble my son needed "?
Kancor scratched his head lightly as he looked at Caitlin, " What are you doing "? Her eyes were darting all over the place while her hands were constantly moving over her dress.
She stopped and looked at her hands, " Sorry. You might not remember this but mother hates creases and wrinkles ". He sighed as he held her hand, " If you keep that up, you'll end up even more nervous and burn your dress ".
She nodded slowly, " Then what am I supposed to do when I'm nervous "? Kancor smiled as he pulled out a considerable amount of strands of hair and placed it in the hand he was holding, " Pinch this ".
She raised an eyebrow, " And what if I end up setting it on fire "? He smiled as he shrugged, " If you survive, you won't do it next time ". She frowned slightly and beat his chest lightly, " That was mean ".
He held his chest with a smile, " That hurt, be gentle ". She rolled her eyes, " Shut up. You're not that fragile anymore ". Kancor laughed [ At least she's not nervous anymore ] and glanced at Anala who was watching them.
Luscious looked around the large yard they were standing in, then at the top of the stairs where Arthur and the rest once stood. [ That was only four. Where are Nisrag's? ]
He turned to Fay who was already directing people on how to unpack, " Do you know who is coming "? She glanced at him, " What are you blabbering about now "? He glanced behind her at Lucy and Simi who were sneaking past her.
" No one told me about a second envoy but from the looks of things, there'll be another one. So, do you know who it is "? Fay shook her head lightly, " Not at all. The queen did mention a second envoy but gave no specifics ".
Luscious sighed [ Who could it be? ] " It can be anyone but the Lord chancellor ". Fay smiled, " I actually hope it's him ". Luscious looked hurt and betrayed, " Why would you want that "? Fay shrugged as she focused her attention back on the carriage, " He's one of the only people you listen to ".
