Luscious was stationed at the back of the carriages and watched Nectar through out her little adventure. He couldn't help but laugh, " I wonder where she's been all these years ".
Luscious felt slightly bad but then again how could he forget someone like Nectar? Everything she did was reckless or impulsive, very odd behavior for a royal but it made her more like herself.
He frowned as he saw Archie trying to jump through the window. Archie had been smothered by his mother and was never allowed to do anything himself so watching him try and jump out a window was more than surprising.
Nectar managed to catch him and they laughed for a bit before she rode to her side of the carriage. Axis was still oblivious to all of this, making it even funnier. She allowed him to crawl back in with the help of two other kids.
They all gave her high fives before leaving the window and back into the carriage. Nectar rubbed her horse's mane complimenting it before riding up to Axis and talking.
" Are you still upset with me Lord Axis "? Axis raised an eyebrow, glancing at her " My opinion doesn't seem to matter ". Nectar smiled slightly, " You're right, it doesn't. But Rampage is technically one of your people so you understand her best ".
Axis felt so tired [ One minute she's a wise sage, the next she's a stubborn child ] " If I may ask, why do you like the creature so much "? Nectar smiled, running her hands through Rampage's scalp " Honestly, I have no idea. The idea of having her feels right ".
Axis sighed in defeat, " Even if I try to get it back from you by all means "? Nectar smiled smugly, sitting straighter in her seat " I'd beat you to a pulp ". Axis laughed, " I beg to differ. I'd clearly win in a fight ". Nectar shook her head, " I'd beat you anytime, anywhere. Even in your dreams ".
The rest of the ride went well, especially since Nectar had successfully distracted Axis. Leaving Archie to spend the rest of the trip playing with the kids.
They'd gotten to the temple half an hour before sunset. Mario sighed in relief, resting against Liam's chest " I didn't think we'd make it ". Nichole nodded in agreement, leaning forward in Nectar's saddle " It's really shiny too ".
Archie who was riding with Luscious nodded, " Its so different from Merfal's fire temple back in Verflog ". Luscious nodded in an agreement while Nectar laughed, " You should see Trewa's waves temple in Actso. Very refreshing ".
Luscious smiled smugly, riding next to Nectar " Nirka's dusk temple in Nisrag is breathtaking ". Nectar rolled her eyes, " When you say it, I don't dare breath ". They laughed and Luscious frowned, " What's that supposed to mean? Get back here and explain yourself "!
Nectar looked back and made a face, sticking out her tongue as she rode up, " I would but I don't think you'd understand me, even if I dumb it down for you ". The ride along the trail was filled with laughter as Nectar and Luscious hurled polite insults at each other.
